Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Knock it off

The loud bell for school to be out rang and kids left school, and my unlucky self, ran into my brother Armond.

He quickly turned around and glared at me with his slit eyes. "Watch it Aisha."

"Armond it was just an accident!" I complained.

"next time it better not be.." Armond mumbled. Man I wish Mom was here to set his pride straight.. "let's just go home already, I want to spy on the old man next door."

I stopped walking and looked up at him. "You too? Want to spy on him together?" I tried to say it calmly.

"No! Hanging out with the younger sibling who is usually mistaken for a human is lame." Armond glared as his forked tongue stuck in and out.

"Hmph, fine." I sighed and reluctantly followed. "Hey Armond, where's Kaleb?"

"don't know, don't care. The brat can go die in a hole." Armond shrugged

"How could you say that?! He is your brother!" I got angry.

"He may be technically, but to me, he'll never be anywhere close!" Armond quickly twisted his body around karate chopped me on the head.

"..." The pain on the top of my head hurt badly. I lost my self control and turned my right arm into a octopus tentacle, picking my brother up, squeezing him.

"You shut up!" I screamed. "We are going home, now!"

Back home

I threw my brother onto the lawn and stomped up to my room. Someone jerked my arm from behind.

"Aisha, why are you mad?" I heard kaleb but didn't turn around.

"Armond.. said for you to go die in a hole.. and I.. threw him onto the lawn with a tentacle.." I grumbled. "Can I go now?"

Kaleb sighed and let go, allowing me to run upstairs and lock my door.

Through my window I saw Kaleb walk outside to Armond.

They looked like they were arguing. I could hear faint shouts from behind the glass.

I didn't like what I was seeing but.. I couldn't help but watch. After a while I pulled myself away from the window and went outside.

Right now I wanted to go for a walk, by myself. I snuck past my brothers and my sleeping father to sneak out into the woods, I might just find something.
