Cheryl glared at the receptionist in disbelief, not knowing what to say any thing further after hearing her words.
The receptionist felt the girl's glance on her and looked up and smiled sarcastically. "Oh! You are still standing here. Mam, you better hurry up, before you miss meeting them at the restaurant too." She then again turned back her gaze at the desktop, resuming her work.
Cheryl looked at the lady as if coming out of a trance. "Huh?" She then speeded up towards the elevator like a maniac, cursing her fate in anger, once again. The receptionist chuckled happily looking at the running away girl.
