Ye Yuwei greeted Master Yao Lao who nodded at Ye Yuwei with a fan in her hand. It seemed like the old lady couldn't sleep because of the hot weather, but at the same time she wouldn't let Gu Juexi install an air-conditioner in her room.

"How is my mother's condition?" asked Ye Yuwei while fanning herself with a fan.
"She is fine. Looks like those people didn't mean to kill her back then. A slightly larger dosage would have killed her," said Master Yao Lao while smacking a mosquito.
Gu Juexi stopped on his way back to his room and turned to look at them.
"Or maybe that person didn't know," said Ye Yuwei softly. After all, it was likely that Wen Lan was not well-versed in medicine.
