Jennifer and I postponed our meeting to the next day so I could get some rest after that... interesting experience. I really needed it to. I had a horrible back ache after it all too. I was able to draw a new art piece to hang in my room too. It of this girl walking through the forest wearing a red hoodie and white jeans to look like a modern red riding hood. She has big gold hoop earrings and a braid that comes out in the front. Around her there's tall trees and tall grass that goes up to her shins. There's mushrooms and rocks scattered around. I really love this one!
At our meeting we meet at the cafe to discuss what we were going to talk about yesterday. We were sitting in the corner by the window. It's my favorite spot. I can look out the window and see all the people passing by while having a nice cup of Coffey. I get a lot of inspiration for my songs and art here.
"Lisa this is it! You're finally getting a major gig! I arranged for you to sing at the Lovell Stadium at 10:30 tonight. I already have your outfit and accessories and it's at the stadium.
I was planning to tell you yesterday to give you time to prepare but it obviously wasn't a good time to tell you. Prepare your song Falling Down for tonight," Jennifer says in a excited peppy voice.
"Oh my god! Jennifer thank you! You're the best manager and friend I could ever ask for. I'm paying for whatever drink you want. Any size! I love you!" I say excitedly.
" I know I'm great but just a drink isn't gonna be enough. Get me something fancy like a watch," Jennifer says in the most serious voice she could without laughing. I look at her dead in the eye.
"What you've done means the world to me you know but, do I look like a fucking bank Jenny!" I say laughing.
"Hey you're the one who hired me. I'm a high maintenance manager," Jennifer says starting to crack up. We both start laughing. Jennifer ends up settling for a drink and a meal. It's about two o'clock do we head our separate ways to prepare for tonight. I'm so excited!
