We ran to see the cottage, got no clue how or when a man built cottage existed here. The roof of hay was intact, it made me feel that it was no built too long ago. The body of the building was bamboo, two small rooms were there.
There were even ashes outside the cottage, but where are the inhabitants gone? Subarno and I searched every where but with vain. Ultimately we decided to stay the night here.
This northeast region usually have heavy rain in the afternoon, it's a bright day throughout morning and gets heavy rain in the afternoon. This rain creates more dense forest. Knowing this we quickly moved into the small cottage with our accommodations.
As expected with night fall came the thunder clouds roaring and heavy rainfall. Pit pat pit pat big rain drops fell upon the cottage, but with heavens blessing the inside of the cottage was dry. We thanked god for finding a place to stay safe.
I lit a small candle which we brought for the night. We all were then chatting about how tiring it was to move through the forest and our plan for the journey the next day. Sweta was taking rest in the other room and maybe she had fallen asleep. It was around the 9 maybe, we heared a bang in the door amongst the manless forest
