Aki's POV
I'm late, I'm late, and I'm late. I chant in my head as I get ready for my first day of high school. I get dressed and rush down the stairs to the kitchen. My father is standing there with a plate. "You have
to eat fast, you have about 5 minutes before the bus comes" he says. I grab a piece of toast off the plate, kiss my father, grab my bag and run out the door. I made it to the bus stop just as the bus pulled up. I show my student ID to the bus driver and head to the middle of the bus. I prefer to not sit in the
front or the back. It is weird habit I know, but I am a weird person, go figure. I look over the student information thing that my dad gave me yesterday and then doze off to sleep. I jolt awake as I hear the bus come to a screeching stop. I get up, gather my bag, and start to get off the bus.
I take one look at the school and realize that it is huge. How the hell am I supposed to find way around it? I start to walk into the gates of the school and then stand there. I notice a guy standing there, who seemed familiar with the school so I asked him for directions. The boy hands me a map and circled where the office was. He introduced himself as Byung Soo, a school prefect. He is helping all first year
students check in. I thank him and walk off. Let me explain, most kids where accepted into this school over the summer. I was forced into this school by my grandfather. I applied for a different high school, but since my grandfather owned this school and was the director, I was told that I would start there. Oh yeah they only told me two days before the new semester. My grandfather mentioned that it was training before my marriage and take over. It actually has me pissed. Who has arranged marriages in this day? No matter, I have no intention of doing either. I was so lost in my thoughts that I did not notice that I had made it to the office.
I walk in and ask for my schedule. I was handed my schedule, locker information, and lunch card.
I thank the lady and went to find my locker. Once I found it, I started to unload my books and look over my schedule. I did not have too many classes. Let me explain, when I was in middle school, I took a lot of advanced classes and I earned most of my high school credits from them. Yeah, I am nerdy, but it's cool.
While looking at my schedule I notice that I was being stared at. You know that feeling you get? I look up and there is some weirdo just standing there. Serious! The dude is just standing there, not even hiding
the fact the he is staring. I turn to me and tell him that it's rude to stare. He just continues to stare. It's irritating, so I call him a perv and walk off. My first class was music, it's also my homeroom. I walk into to class and sit in the desk at the back of the classroom near the window. When all the students made it
into class, the teacher went to talking about enjoying the year or something. I kind of tuned her out after the name introduction. Next thing I know someone is scooting their desk next to mines. I look up; about to ask what they are doing, when I realized that it was that same idiot that was staring at me
earlier. I can be a bit…rude. Okay, Okay, I am more than rude, so I rudely tell him to leave and I might of, sort of told him to die as well. But oh well. He was weird. Instead of doing the things I suggested he just
laughs and tells me who he is. "Yeoboseyo (Hello), my name is Dong Hae. Kim Dong Hae, it's a pleasure to meet you." He says smiling like a Chester cat. Honestly I want to punch him the face. I just look at him. I was still in the process of trying to figure out why he irritated me so much, when his face
became serious. He grabbed my hand on tugged it. I raise an eyebrow and look up at him. "I apologize for earlier; I was daydreaming and ended up staring at you while I was doing. I am really, really sorry. Friends? I stare at him and sigh. I tell its fine. He suddenly becomes excited and says friends, let's eat lunch together. I met this sunbae (someone who is older, form of respect) that is a year ahead of us and
he's eating with us. He's a Japanese exchange student. Let's all eat together. "Ah I am excited I get to have lunch with the cute Rin-nim and the beautiful Akira…Happy, happy." The fool kept rambling the whole period. When the bell rang I gather my things and headed to the office. I have free periods for the
next two periods. As I went to reach for my bag, he grabbed it and decided that he was walking me to my locker.
Hae's POV
Ahhh, this girl is really pretty. I saw her picture in the director's office. He said that she his
granddaughter. Her name was Akira. So pretty. I have never met any mixed Koreans before. Well, I have but they were not half black. She's really amazing. Yeah, she's a bit rude. I did stare at her, but she seems nice. We're friends now. I am so happy. I met two pretty people today. Rin, he's very cute. I want
them both. I'll keep them. My little cuties. "Stupid, why are standing there grinning like that for?" I look over and I see my noona (older sister) standing there. I get excited and start telling her about Akira and
Rin. She narrows her eyes at me and tells me to not to play with them. "What do you mean by that?" "I know you , you don't care about others, Why are they so important?" She then walks way before I can answer.
I mean, yeah sometimes I can be insensitive and I hurt people, but with them it's different. I really want to be around them. I really like them. There is the cute Rin, who's quiet and sweet. He has pale skin and seems to always be in Narnia. Then there's Akira, she doesn't seem to be the nicest person, but I know
she is. I saw her earlier when she helped that kid that dropped his things. She's just a tsundere. I can't wait for lunch. I spend the next two classes in a daze. I am really happy.
Rin's POV
Hmmm, that kid is a complete weirdo, but he is cute. He just walked up and told me I was cute and his friend. I was more than a little shocked. It's interesting.
