Traveling overseas was something that they hardly did due to their financial constraints. Now they had landed, Joseph and Lianne were busy processing everything that they saw with wonder.
Lianne had spent the time on the plane digging up more information about her mother in her new life and was extremely impressed. It was like some fairy-tale story.
The things she had done, and gone through, in order to survive and eventually, come back to them. Lianne felt utterly warm at that, and also sad when she thought of the things her mother must have gone through.
After all, she had only 'lost' her mother for a week or so. Her mother, on the other hand, had lost them for 19 years.
