Isla Nublar, 25 west of Costa Rica. It was an extremely large island, but the plot behind it was much larger. You, Harris Smith, work at Jurassic Park's engineering section. The park has not opened yet, so it's just you and a minimal amount of staff on the island. You are in the loud helicopter owned by Ingen, Jurassic Park's founders, and it's on it's way to the island. You've worked here a while, and find it slightly irritating that you have to take a helicopter over the sea every day just to get to work, but you enjoy your work. When you finally arrive, you are greeted by Robert Muldoon, he's an expert on what he works on... Dinosaurs... A park completely filled with dinosaurs in cages, on your first day you couldn't quite believe it, but then you saw your first dinosaur, clear as day. It was a long time ago, but it was like a miracle, but anyway. Time to get to work.
You follow Muldoon into the Jurassic Park jeep, and head to the middle of the island, the visitor's center. It's a large, beautifully archictured place, quite like the island.
