Early the next morning, Carl made breakfast for Kim before heading to work. Once he arrived at the office, Chamberlain called him into his office.
"You lost weight." Chamberlain commented. "I guess caring for someone is difficult."
Carl looked down at himself, his first thought was why and how did Chamberlain notice. "Don't act like you care." He stated.
Chamberlain smiled charmingly, "I wouldn't notice if I don't."
He did not know how to feel about his retort, so he said, "I wouldn't be here if you truly cared."
Whenever he was around Carl, he was always laid-back. "Maybe you'd like a seat in my office to know I do."
Carl cursed under his breath, "Enemies do that too."
