Chapter 7 - Top One Thousand Player

The two overconfident enemies never expected these suicidal bastards to withstand their fire blaze. Brave's cultivators instantly produced two gaping holes inside of their chests, causing their hearts to burst into little pieces.

They plopped down onto the floor, losing their lives instantly, as Brave reaped the rewards of the battle. Killing his opponents immediately caused him to level up to level 5, and he immediately gained access to a slew of new skills and techniques.

His opponent instantly regretted looking down on body cultivators. There were geniuses here from five dimensions and fifteen universes! He now knew he had to take this seriously, or he'd lose his chance at reincarnation.

He immediately caused his cultivators to speed up as they traversed the five miles between Brave's sect, and his own. They passed by the town as Brave patiently prepared inside of his sect.

Brave's cultivators already returned to gathering energy, as he attempted to make best use of his level advantage. Even if he had to verse three cultivators, his opponent wouldn't be able to gather energy!

He just needed five minutes, with his level 5 bonus of increased energy gathering, to learn the defensive technique the basic golden torso. It would allow him to just barely have enough defense to handle running through two inferno flames, the attack his opponent used.

However, the time passed quickly, and Brave only had time to get 19 / 20 energy he needed to purchase the skill. Because of his tiger eye skill, he noticed four men waiting on his periphery and sweat started dripping on his head.

"You seem to be worrying about something I can't even begin to comprehend emperor. Are you not satisfied with your victory?" Lively found him outside sitting by the body of the two dead cultivators. She worriedly looked into his eyes, noticing a profound wisdom she couldn't even begin to understand.

Brave got up and smiled, responding to her, "Yes, luckily the Whitestone Infinity Dagger came with the skill Tiger Eye. Because of that, I should be able to ambush my opponent."

"I already sent the two cultivators to intercept them. If I catch one of them by surprise, I perhaps should have a chance to survive."

Lively gulped and laughed. She couldn't believe someone would be able to beat the emperor, and it felt weird seeing such a perfect young man tossing away with worry.

However, watching the two cultivators skulk into the trees, she no longer doubted her master. A second later, crows flew into the air, as Brave executed his plan.

The four waiting cultivators turned around in shock as their location had somehow been discovered. They all attempted to use their inferno flame art, attempting to kill the two Brave Sect cultivators, but their reaction was too late.

Their fists activated the dragon fist technique at the perfect time, and one cultivator of the four was instantly killed. As for the three remaining, they jumped back and unleashed more and more inferno flames.

Brave had truly struck gold with that surprise attack, and immediately sent them towards the trees to flee.

One of them ran with a body still on their hand as three men chased. Luckily, a tree happened to nudge the obstacle off of his hand, as he ran around in circles.

Brave smiled at this result as his face calmed to the relief of Lively. If even her prodigious master couldn't handle the situation she'd surely be dead! In her world, girls were seen as nothing more than trophies in wars, and that was most likely what happened to her mother.

However, this wasn't an ordinary battle, and the men chasing Brave's cultivators took an abrupt turn. They weren't so foolish to keep chasing them through the bushes for eternity, and immediately ran towards Brave's base.

Unfortunately, this was a tactic, and also Brave's biggest weakness. If his opponent had truly played for between a thousand and ten thousand years, he'd definitely lose when it came to micromanaging his troops, but luckily, he had bastards like Tokugawa.

Tokugawa ran with his pick axe towards the two cultivators as tears dripped down his eyes. Behind him was three more miners that seemed like the reprobates of his team. Even though miners had only 100 health, it would be better than is base getting destroyed!

It was now up to Tokugawa, the bastard, to survive a few seconds until his cultivators caught up. Even his opponent at this moment was shaking in his boots, as he had truly fallen into an unfavorable position!

When rushing a base in Lords of Immortal Kingdom, the first rule was to have two more cultivators then your opponent! He learned this in the hundreds of years he had played the game, and expected to easily win with six cultivators.

However, his opponent didn't follow any of the rules, and instead won by using new, novel techniques! He couldn't think of any of the top 1000 players who would change their technique, and immediately realized it must be someone knew.

He looked over at his servants, and sighed, his horses already packed to go on a journey.

"We got information worth quite a little penny, Sliver. Let's just hope one of the other players will be willing to buy it and ally me at the same time!"

His opponent already knew that his chances of winning the battle were over as the ten miners used their basic attacks against his cultivator using the most basic tactical maneuver.

At this point, he was absolutely sure he was versing a player not in the top 1000, but one who knew a lot of tricks! He could only watch as his three remaining cultivators were slowly ripped to shreds. Only killing one guard in the mayhem that had taken place.

Brave wiped off his sweat, glad that the battle had finished, and walked over to the remains of the unlucky guard.

The four attacking miners survived, including Tokugawa, who somehow lived with 1 HP left. Brave walked up to him with his knife out ready to truly give him what he deserved.
