Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

William's P.O.V.

Beep beep beep bee―

The beeping of my alarm. The sound I love the most.

The alarm sound is one of the sounds I love a lot in this world. Many of you will disagree wholeheartedly, saying that I must be crazy.

After all who in the world likes the alarm?

Well, I do. The reason being, the alarm sound indicates the sound of a new day. It is a fresh start that all of us can embrace. A new day is a new opportunity for us to do what we could not do before and right the wrongs of yesterday.

And I look forward to this opportunity everyday.

...…

I yawned, switched the alarm off and swung my legs off of the bed. I yawned again.

I sat there on my bed, looking out of the tiny gap between the curtains of my window.

It was still pretty dark outside. After all, it was just 5 am.

He's crazy!

Nope folks. Mornings are my first, second, third and last love.

I'm not even exaggerating.

Mornings are special. I love them. I somehow feel much more alive in the mornings than at any other time of the day.

Mornings are magical.

I yawned again and got out of bed, to the bathroom whilst I ruffled my hair. After the toilet was sat on, the teeth were brushed and the face was almost cruelly drenched with cold water I came out.

Wow, I'm narrating my morning routine huh.

I slipped out of my pyjamas and into my gym clothes and running shoes, grabbed my phone, house key and earbuds and went out if my room.

No, I didn't make my bed.

.

.

.

Oh come on! I just woke up! Give me a break.

After gulping down a giant glass of heavenly yet modest water, I finally head out the door, trying to be as silent as possible so as to not disturb my family.

Correction: there was no family to disturb. They didn't live here anymore.

Fun.

My house was located in a quaint little area, clothed with trees of all kinds. The road was always sheltered by them and littered with their leaves. I always found it to be pleasant in my neighbourhood. My neighborhood was my definition of aesthetic.

Yep.

I ran and ran and ran like my life depended on it.

Those ten minutes of running were my personal favourite. I got to pretend that I was running away from my troubles and "responsibilities" for ten whole minutes!

Now that's something.

...…

"Ugh."

I finally took off my shoes, relief spreading over my aching feet. My shoes were a little small for my feet and so my feet always ended up hurting at the end of my workout session.

I was back home now, after my run and simple workout. I took a shower, drank two magnanimous glasses of water had an even magnanimous breakfast of granola plus Greek yoghurt plus fruit and finally found myself at my desk at six twenty.

My mornings were pretty straightforward: workout, shower, breakfast and study till school. Then I would have six hours of school after which a few extracurricular activities and then come back home to study even more. Then I'll have dinner and sleep.

That's my life. My life has been expressed in thirty-six words.

Nice.

I sighed.

I scratched my nose.

I picked up my pen.

I got to work.

That's the spirit.
