Chapter 3 - The Forgotten Daemon

As I left the cave I felt my body grow a stronger, faster, and more resilient. But now was not the time to wander or to figure out what has happened to me instead I needed to find my mother. As I ran Dalgaroth began to talk "Since you are about to spill blood I would like to say something," I only gave a grunt response, "the sword you wield is me and I will never break or go dull but the muscle memory within me can only help so much." "Okay what does this have to do with me fighting," I responded. " Everything, it will affect your speed, power, and movement. You will need to train but I gave you a booster to help with lack of training. Use it wisely." I thought on what was said and as I ran I knew that this booster would my saving grace.

As we neared were I heard the scream I felt a strange magic and so did the sword. "We have to be close" I said, "Close to a daemon you mean, that strange magic it means that daemon is here and they have not been seen since the Age of Gates. This is very bad for us," Dalgaroth commented. "So what do we do," I asked. "You do nothing I take control and kill the daemon."... "No," "what do you mean no", I said, "This is my mother we are trying to save I will kill that daemon. So what do I do," "You fight and you do not stop or show mercy the daemon may try to control your mother but dragons resist mind control." With that I ran right into the daemon using an unknown magic on my mother and as he looked and saw me he froze and the magic faltered. As it faltered my mother was released and she ran from the daemon to me and asked "Sir knight have you seen my son," and I simply said "yes" at my voice she stiffened "Levon is that you," I nodded. "I will handle the daemon, you need to get away from here." "So Alavar's heir has a risen my master will be pleased. Hmm, I wonder if I can get some of your blood to reopen the gate, yes, this is a good opportunity to restart the great conquest. hmph you will die this night." And I simply said, "Sure, when I see you in hell."
