So I went in as an assassin this time. He was changing his clothes and a servant was helping him. I was waiting for his servant to leave the room so that I could go in. Then i heard their conversation. The servant said," Master the lady you're going to marry seems to be of humble origin and isn't even a beauty. Why do you intend on marrying her?!"He glared at the servant and said "origin doesn't matter. I just love her. I wanted to approach her before but she seemed to be seriously ill. So i had sent for a doctor but that day the sweet little baby girl brought someone with her. I was keeping an eye on the man just in case he does something bad to them. But fortunately he helped them a lot. So in the end i could only approach as trying to help with buisness. But i really love her. If she hears anything as such you'll all be driven out of the mansion."
After hearing this the servant retreated. I felt like there was no longer a need to test him. As long as he really loves the lady and her child it doesn't matter. Later on i inquired from some locals about how many wives he had and so on. To my surprise he didn't have a single concubine. And his parents were really kind people who wouldn't force him on anything. He has one sister who's already married and has a good reputation too. They seemed trustworthy plus Lin would be here so there won't be any harm. At the night Lin and i went to the lady's mansion. As tomorrow it would be her great day. Leaving me with two more days. We were gonna sleep there. By this time the mansion was thoroughly decorated and the bridal dress was also ready.
The little girl insisted on sleeping with me. So did Lin. I couldn't say no to them and I didn't want her to disturb her mother, so i took them with me. It was a beautiful room, with good scriptures and decorations. Lin changed into his fox form and cuddled in and from the other side the little girl cozied up. We all slept well that night. Then the next day i woke up the girl was still sleeping so I didn't disturb her. Instead i got up and did my hair and wore my clothes. Then i woke up Lin and asked him to get ready it was a good day for a marriage. I went to check up on bride. Her makeup was still left. I had time on my hands anyways to i decided to teach her a little.
She was keen on learning the art of makeup lol. So i taught her with all the things available. She was really in awe after the transformation. All her wrinkles were gone plus she looked young...
