Chapter 3 - The Beginning

Lin Feng eyes slowly opened and he could see the familiar Red Water City.He recognized where he was immediately , it was Red Water cities town hall. There was already a bunch of players gathered.The players that were in the town hall were only the ones which had chosen to come to Red Water city. What was going on here was probably going on in every other city and kingdom and empire

Through the window ,Lin Feng could see a myriad of buildings some tall and others small covering the city on the horizon. The door in front of them was locked all the crowded players could only wait until something happened. There was also a bunch of blank lands with nothing on them which could be purchased with Gold coins.

<> was like a traditional RPG in regards to its currency. There were cooper , silver and gold coins. 100 copper coins was 1 silver and 100 silver coins was one gold.

The further one progressed in <> the more valuable these gold coins would become as you would be able to purchase more

and more things as you progressed.

However , this wasn't Lin Feng's main concern as he had already been gifted 50 silver or 5000 copper from the system.

Lin Feng being a time traveler and all knew actually what was going to happen , the starting event . No player could leave the town hall until the starting event had occurred.So before that Lin Feng needed to apply his free attribute points .

Free attribute points were points that you could use to strengthen any of the six attributes: Agility , Endurance , Strength , Intelligence, Vitality.

Lin Feng opened his stats screen.

Lin Feng already knew that he was going to use most of his points on agility and the rest on strength. The reason for this was very simple. In the early stages of <> monsters did considerable damage to players due to them not having good enough equipment to tank the hits. Therefor Lin Feng would put most of his contribution points on Agility so he had increased movement speed and then strength so he could do sufficient damage to the enemy.

Just as Lin Feng had finished allotting his free attribute points he heard a melodious voice ring in ears.It was from the NPC at the counter.

" Welcome to <>. The game officially launches in 1 minute . For being here for the countdown for the official release of <> you all get a free bronze equipment set according to your main job class and one Iron-ranked weapon according to your sub- class.

Please join us for the countdown for the official release in just 10 seconds," The NPC states loudly.

Lin Feng could hear a cacophony of numbers being shouted in unison.

Lin Feng was feeling excited to be able to continue playing the game where he had so many memories of events , friends and guild members camaraderie that he too joined in the countdown.

Every player dashed towards the door wanting to experience the new beat up and coming star of the virtual reality gaming world. The only one who remained in the town hall after closer inspection was Lin Feng.
