Sid pondered a couple of times how he can be able to win the favor of both his 'wife' and son. The two of them seems to be having so much fun in his presence as they feed each other cheerily. Laurice made some fluffy souffle pancake for the little one and drizzled in some syrup and whipped cream on it coupled with a bunch of fresh fruits. It looked prettier than most regular pancakes and he knew it's even tastier since it was Laurice who cooked it. If only the 'wife' will give him a bite then he would be full already.
"Mommy have some strawberries." Louie raise his fork with a berry and raised it to Laurice's mouth. His eyes were filled with anticipation.
Oh! What a sweet and thoughtful child he was!
Laurice happily opened her mouth wide and ate the berry the little one was offering. It was supposed to be bittersweet but as soon as it melted inside her mouth it only tasted sweet that her shoulders shrug happily and her eyes dilated. Her heart keeps on fluttering because of the little one. She wasn't particularly fond with kids but Little Louie was just way too adorable.
'I mean, what's not to love about him?' She thought.
"Thank you sweetie." Laurice praised the little guy and pinched his flushed cheeks lightly. She also fed Louie with her own spoon in return which made Sid even more jealous of the two.
Little Louie looked satisfied and happy. His eyes were sparkling like little stars in the sky. It was such a rare sight that Sid felt like taking a picture of the three of them altogether. Yes, he's gonna lump himself in and take a family photo.
Without hesitation, Sid called for the butler's presence.
The butler blinked a few times towards his young master before following his command.
'What's this? They're creating memories already?'
Just now, the picture of the three of them together was a sight to behold. They do looked pretty much like a happy family of three. They were sharing such a harmonious time alongside each other and it was heartwarming. The picture he just snapped captured the liveliness and satisfaction of three people having a meal together.
The butler was apparrently smiling happily as well.
Little Louie looked perky than his usual self. He glanced at their photo though the phone and his eyes glowed a few times brighter. Suddenly he tug on Laurice's shirt and said to her afterwards, "Mommy let's take a picture together!"
"Oh! Together?!" Laurice exclaimed.
Well, why not?! She would certainly love to. She might as well have them all printed later.
The little young master seemed to like a solo picture taken with only the young miss. Butler Han instantly snapped a few more as they both bubbly pose for the camera.
Sid: " ... "
Little Louie was browsing through and over their photos when it stopped on one particular picture. It was the one where Laurice was acting as if she was blowing him a kiss with her puckered lips while he was holding his cheeks that was blushing red from embarrassment. It was a playful and cute picture. The rest of the photos were just as adorable though.
Laurice casted a sidelong glance at the child beside her and noticed that the little one was staring intently at their photo together. An idea flashed past her mind.
Little Louie froze in his seat.
Laurice just gave him a real kiss on the cheek!
Little Louie's cheeks instantly flushed from the sudden contact. He held his left cheek that his 'mother' pecked and sheepishly glanced at her, misty-eyed.
All these were also captured through the lense by a certain butler.
"I thought you wanted a kiss sweetie. Did you like it?" Laurice saw the little one's reaction and she was worried that she might have actually overstep her boundaries by giving him a peck. It was a spur of the moment thing but she felt it was the right thing to do.
A tender smile crept in Little Louie's face as he stared at her with yearning gaze. He nodded shyly and did not utter a word afterwards.
Sid: " ... "
'Son, it was just one kiss.
What are you so surprised about?'
But looking at the two of them was indeed heartwarming. He have never felt this happy and contented all his life. He considered himself lucky enough to be able to witness his son made such a blissful face.
...
After meal, Laurice presented to wash the utensils but the pair of father and son refused to just watch her do all the work herself. The butler even tried to stop the woman to do the chore himself but she just won't budge.
"C'mon you two. I can handle this. Sid, you go have your bath. Sweetie, go play with Butler Han for awhile, alright?" Laurice insisted.
Sid and Louie looked glum as Laurice shun them away.
Butler Han: " ... "
Butle Han who was caught in between the three of them was astounded. This wasn't the first time that he witnessed how compassionate the woman could be and he believed she wasn't just brown-nosing his two masters to curry them favor. In fact, it felt like the other way around. The two men both big and small were obviously fawning over the young miss's attention.
...
Sid sighed and said, "Fine. But don't overdo it. Follow after me then."
A crashing sound erupted.
A plate slid from Laurice's grip in the sink.
'Swish'
The man immediately checked upon her. He thought the dish were shattered in pieces. It was a relief that she was not hurt at all.
"Are you alright? I just told you not to overdo it." Sid uttered worriedly.
Laurice jolted in surprise.
'Follow after him' He said.
She was hallucinating again and she blamed the man for it. Her heart was pounding in her chest when she heard him speak and the thought of the them showering together instantaneously flashed in her mind.
Her cheeks flushed.
'Damn.'
'Why can't the man just pick up any decent words to remind her about anything?'
Sid was looking at her intently.
A mischievous glint flashed in his deep brown eyes.
His lips suddenly arched into a coquettish smirk.
"I'll go in first. Let's go somewhere later." He whispered before turning to leave.
Laurice shot him a glare. She was still blushing though.
"I don't have anything to wear!" She scoffed.
Sid halted and glanced at her, "No need to fuss about it Laurice. I had it arranged already."
The man continued walking towards the bathroom.
Right before he entered, he swept her a sidelong glance and said, "We're going swimming."
Laurice: " ... swimming???!!! "
