When the young nobleman of the northern ice wolf family didn't crawl any further, Fraser slowly started to walk.
Arriving in front of the young nobleman who pissed himself in his pants, Fraser put up a smile and started to speak:
"So you are a member of the northern ice wolf family. Right?"
At that question, the young nobleman nodded as if his life depended on it.
With that reaction Fraser grinned, his eyes started to form crescents.
"This is a pretty imposing name, having a mighty monster as your family emblem while also signaling the direction your territory lies in. So care to tell me about your family?"
Having an elemental monster as your family emblem often meant that the family would have a strong origin.
Adding the four directions often meant that a large part in that direction would be under the family.
So logically Fraser should cower in fear and be afraid to offend the northern ice family.
However, that was an unspoken rule that only applied to the past.
It is inevitable that a noble family will decline.
Then who changes their name? Right, nobody.
To say the truth, most family emblems, titles and legends origin from the founder or the founder family.
So, for example, the founder of the northern ice wolf family might have a territory in the northern part of the world where snow and ice dominate nature.
Then he slew a sick and old ice wolf and he theoretically should have the right to call him northern ice wolf.
At least that is what most nobles in these days do.
Brag achievements in a half-truth way.
In the past, such a name would naturally scare Fraser away, but from his experience, most nobles having such mighty name are either scammers or members of families with a long heritage.
There was the risk of offending someone with backing, but someone who brags around with their backing or family is just a dumb idiot.
Since Fraser could just reply back in the same manner.
"I am from the deadly rosethorn flower family, how dare you to question me."
But as that noble etiquette seemed to be too dumb for him, Fraser naturally didn't do that.
Besides, his father the Duke of Rosethorn actually didn't use the full family name as well.
Only in exceptional occasions where he had to play noble with other high nobles.
So when Fraser started to question the young noblemen from the northern ice family, he didn't expect that he actually hit the jackpot.
The northern ice family was one of those families with strong expert and even had a couple of Magi in their ranks.
The young noblemen didn't know how many, but one of those Magi was in the outpost.
At that information, Fraser started to frown.
'Why am I so lucky? Casually hitting someone cocky rewards me with a negative impression of a Magus. Or even an entire Magi family.'
With more pressure and a little bit of threat, Fraser quenched the young man for information.
And how useful that was!
Like a man thirsting for water in the desert, Fraser drank the information of the young man in a greedy way.
Every bit of information seemed to land on fertile soil that only waited for water.
In the end, Fraser even forgot to continue his imposing manner and stared into the void, pondering about the information he just heard.
When the voice of the young man started to turn raspy and uncomfortable to hear from all that talking, the useful information started to appear less frequently.
Instead of useful information, the young noblemen from the northern ice wolf family started to confess about his love affairs, how he peeped at the body of his aunt at the second grate and much more irrelevant stuff.
Turning around Fraser walked away, with eight concealed figures walking behind him.
Like a small elite unit, Fraser and his servant walked in search for other apprentices.
He acquired interesting information and now he needed to confirm from a second person if that information is correct.
At first, Fraser walked around without a goal. While he walked he didn't encounter many apprentices and when he did encounter one, most left in fear of his eight concealed escort.
No wonder when all of the concealed figures were more than seven feet big or 2,1 meters.
Adding their broad features and you had an imposing escort.
After walking around for a while Fraser wanted to return to his private chamber. Since he didn't had a plan on how to find the second person who might confirm the information from the young noblemen, he didn't want to waste time.
However in that split of a second a mental person formed in his mind.
'Yes, Elise should know the information and could confirm whether it's true or not.'
In the straightest manner, possible Fraser darted towards the inner circle room of Magus Sept and opened the door.
When Fraser entered the room, he still could see the weird apprentices he saw the first time.
However this time they seemed to have multiplied.
It felt that every inner circle member of the Magus Sept gathered in his room.
Emium and Vira looked at each other as if they would attack each other at any moment.
Vira sat on a normal couch, surrounded herself with her group, containing the wooden elf guy, her little brother who somehow had two arms?, a couple of other figures and Frasers four acquaintances.
Emium instead sat alone, a glass of red wine in his right hand. Playfully twirling it around.
Although the room had a heavy mood in it and Fraser could literally see how the room was divided into two fronts, he immediately walked towards his target.
Since it wasn't the first time all eyes glared at his move, Fraser ignored everyone and walked towards Elise.
With a single sentence Fraser gathered the attention of everyone:
"Elise. We need to talk. Follow me."
Three of her friends started to protest, however, that quickly got ended when the wooden elf apprentice stopped them with a single hand gesture.
At the same time, the wooden elf apprentice waved her hand in a manner that indicated that Elise should go with Fraser.
When Fraser left the inner circle room with Elise trailing behind, he could see that Emium continued to twirl his wine glass and the gaze battle continued.
Elise started to speak the moment the door of the inner circle closed.
"Fraser, what do you want from me? Revenge? My body? You somehow acquired enough power to beat the younger brother from Vira within moments. Are you now full of yourself that you…"
She couldn't speak more as Fraser interrupted her:
"I don't care about the fact that you left when Elizabeth showed up. Obviously, I looked like the weakest one with little to no potential. Elizabeth arrived and deemed me too weak to follow her. So she kicked me out."
Shaking his head Fraser ignored how Elise stared at his escort of eight concealed figures.
"No, this is not revenge. Instead, this is a threat. I want you to tell me information about Families with one Magus or how a Magi Family is structured. After all, you are part of a Magi Family. We will talk when we reach my private chamber until then shut up."
After that short speech from Fraser, they arrived at his chamber and she began speaking about Magi families. A glass of water stood next to her since Fraser knew that this talk would take a while.
