I finally arrived at the airport. I was tired, dirty, and horribly dressed. I just wanted to meet Hyun Ok and fall into a bed. I could just feel the soft mattress of the bed, the smooth sheets, a warm blanket.
"Oh god, I want to sleep right now."
After getting out of the plane and collecting all my bags I excitedly walked out of the last doorway expecting my over the top best friend to be waiting there for me even more eagerly than I was. I was really confused when Hyun Ok was no where to be seen. All puzzled and perplexed, I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialled her number.
" Hey, Hyun Ok, where are you, I cant see you."
" Haha...ha..ha...ahhh...ummm"
" Spit it out, Hyun Ok!"
" The funny thing is that.... IMSTILLATWORK! IM SORRY!"
" W-what?! you're still at work?! What am I supposed to do here? I haven't been to Korea in so long I don't remember anything."
" Don't worry, my shift is almost over and I'll be there soon. Just go to a cafe or something until I come."
"Fine."
I roamed around the airport until I saw a cafe that caught my eye. Actually.... it was more like a guy in the cafe rather than the cafe, itself, that caught my eye. I immediately rushed over to the nearest restroom to change my clothes and do my makeup before he left.
As I walked out of the women's room looking completely refreshed and beautiful again, I decided to get my self a cappuccino. As I dug through my wallet, I realized I didn't have any won yet. I stood there giving the cashier a sad look. Just then, a man came and stood closely behind me to pay for my cappuccino for me.
"Anything else?"
I quietly nodded. When I looked up at him, I was left in awe.
"You owe me."
I stood there holding up the line while he had already walked away to get me a lid for my cup.
"You coming?"
Not being able to speak, I nodded and quickly followed.
"Hmm..... what should you owe me?"
I sat there silently, trying to think of something cool to say.
"Helloooooo? Can you speak? Are you ok?"
"YES! Umm.. I mean y-yes."
" I think you should have coffee with me. Yes. That is what you owe me."
Soon, I was able to speak and laugh. His eyes looked so cold but welcoming. I felt so comfortable around him that I didn't notice. I didn't notice his evil intentions.
