Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- Genereve Jansen Coffey

His name is Genreve Jansen. It's an unusual name, he especially love the name Genreve as his mind pronounce it "Jenriv" everyone likes calling him that. It primarily came from the first and last book of the bible-Genesis and Revelation. Consequently, his parents are devout Christian church leaders.

Jansen is the name claimed by his other personality. Despite the gentlemanly name, Jansen is the douche in his tri-personality. While on the contrary, the other personality taking is the always smiling, soft spoken, yet talented Genesis. Without this two he can't last an hour in the outside world, the inside being his mind; Genesis and Jansen's living room.

"Hey Genreve, don't know what to do with the equation?" Jansen scorned Genreve.

Despite being a douche Jansen is impressively remarkable in mathematical equations it's the only thing that keeps his interest, aside from trouble which he often get Genreve into.

"why don't you just leave him be Jansen?" Genesis replied with his tacit phrase.

"Blah, blah, blah…too much jibber jabber Mr. nice guy. Let me answer that for you BRO" with a scorning emphasis on the last word.

"Mr. Coffey! Staring on your name again?" An old woman in her late 60's stood beside Genreve's desk her dark brown eyes planted a stern look at him with his blank exam paper only his name written on it. "You are not as bright as you think you are young man. You just want the world to revolve around you but your pen would not cooperate would it?"

Genreve was rolling his pen slightly leaning back avoiding the generous shower of which Ms. Hampshires' mouth was the nozzle. Ever since the first day of class his professor was irritated with him around, he can't believe the fact that his father dated this old woman during his college life. His dad fortunately married his mom and Ms. Hampshire tragically ended sulky and alone.

She utterly hate Genreve and the feeling is mutual.

Why couldn't she just retire, find a boyfriend with her end of service benefits perhaps? He thought as she gaze at her animus brown eyes through her thick pair of glasses. Genreve smirked as he noticed an involuntary twitching on the corner of her left eye.

"What is that impolite grin Genreve?!" the teacher scolded.

Genreve stood up as if it was a reflex as he heard her shout, "I can't contain the glee of seeing a granny hag whose facial expression does not hide her real age and actually exaggerate it." Still with the evil's grin in his face, Genreve removed her glasses. "Class!" everyone turned their gaze on the drama that unfolded in the middle of the room. "Can you honestly believe that granny knew the answers to our exam? I doubt that, even her twitching eye agrees. Her grey hair is probably saying she might already be demented." most of the class smirked at his as he spoke but some detested his actions.

Jansen possessed Genreve. He went to the board and solved the 10 algebraic equations which was on their examination in less than 10 minutes. "Now tell me…ain't I a genius old hag?" He said raising both hands in the air as he walk away towards the door slamming it as he left.

"You always put me into trouble!" Genreve protested at Jansen's action.

"You're welcome BRO that old hag deserves it. He must not blame a son if she ended being dump by pops. Plus, you witnessed her bitchy attitude, I doubt their relationship even lasted a week… I won't wonder why she ended up hating every male species in the planet" Jansen answered contemptuously.

"Don't make that as an excuse, I'm still the one sitting in the guidance counselor's office and what do you do?...You sleep, you shut down or whatever it is that you do you suddenly disappear from my head."

"Now that you mention it…"Jansen had an idea of his next malevolent act as he saw the trash bins ordely placed along the hallway reflecting in Genreve's hazel eyes.

"Don't ever do that!" But Genreve was too late, Jansen started kicking every trash bin in the corridor disturbing the silence in each classroom as they he did so.

"That's how you do a dramatic exit" Genreve grinned as he walk towards the main gate.

-----------------------------

The office was little less than what you call spacious there are two, the brightness of the morning sun will strain the eyes if not for the grey colored blinds. A one and a half meter book shelve separate the two windows. That is the total width of the office, it actually look like a square box, all sides have the same width, still spacious for a single occupant that was sitting on the other end of the table.Genreve removed his left hand over the empty desk the only thing that was over it was a 14 inches piece of Narra with letters engraved; Mr. Gamaliel S. Cone, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR.

"Yup, here I am again..." With a sigh he gazed at both the School's terror, the one who hated him so much, and the other who is unconditionally kind and yet inexplicitly strict to morally straying students. I'd prefer the latter, he never looks too old and never splashes saliva all over my face. Genreve thought as he turn his gaze toward the 43 y/o man. His facial feature doesn't reveal his age no noticeable wrinkles, firm skin, hair is black with only a few centimeters obviously receding from where his hair should have bordered.

"Mr. Genreve Jansen Coffey got into trouble again aren't we?" the smart-looking counselor said sternly studying his facial expression.

"I…I…" Genreve stuttered in sheepish submission, the words just won't come out of his mouth because he actually don't have something in mind. He knew it wasn't his fault but he also know so well they will not believe him if he tell them the story.

"This kid does not know how to respect his elders, always get into trouble with other students and his understanding of my subject is nil."

"That would be a false accusation Ms. Hampshire." Genreve momentarily released an innocent warm smile and the way he said his sentence was very far from the kid who made a knot of his tongue for a single word earlier.

"You see Sir Gamaliel." Genreve gently looked away from Ms. Hampshire and made eye contact with the Counselor. "Ms. Hampshire can't blame everything on me. To be honest I really hate Ms. Hampshire's class, you got me at that. I hate numbers. But that does not mean Ms. Hampshire has the right to look at me with unexplainable anger." He looked at the professor and it appeared to her as if he is taunting her. "One example was what occurred yesterday, I wasn't late, I was habitually early in class, I am in the middle row, can you tell me what was her reason I was the one who received the test paper last and add to that five minutes later than anyone else in the class?" Genreve explained his side in a mild manner.

The guidance counselor turned to the Professor probing on her eyes as if he already knew what she was going to say. "Why is that Ms. Hampshire?"

"I… I didn't notice he doesn't have the test paper yet." She answered while she appeared doubting even her statement.

"Mr. Coffey is an outstanding student in academic terms though he may be quite mischievous towards everyone else" Mr. Gamaliel raised his I-pad to show what had transpired during that heated event. "You see he was the last one to receive the examination paper yet he solved all of it in a few minutes, fortunately one of his classmates took a video and I took it as an evidence."

There was a small unnoticeable grin that formed in Genreve's face indicating that he won this battle. While he looked at the corpse appearance in his professors face.

"Mr. Coffey, you did not win the lottery are you?" as he expected, Mr. Gamaliel is a hell of a psychiatrist. "You still have to apologize to Ms. Hampshire for your untoward deed and of course, I almost forgot! You have some cleaning to do. The Janitor can rest for a while maybe a week? Summer vacation will be quite late for you mischievous fellow."

There was a sudden respite on the professor's tensed expression as she heard the verdict to the accused.

"I will do that Sir Gamaliel, I am very sorry for my rebellious action" He answered.

"I apologize to my deed Ms. Hampshire." The professor saw sincerity in Genreve's eyes with the accompaniment of his pleading voice. She was perplexed by the arrogant brat's sudden change of impression uncertain if he's just mocking her or anything else. She doesn't want to believe what she was witnessing. An expression contrary to his appearance spikey hair, black shirt with imprinted demon face, and a tattered denim.

"I hope you don't hold grudge against each other" The counselor interrupted.

Ms. Hampshire stretched her hand to Genreve to acknowledge the apology as she said. "You must change your outfit, you look like a drug addict ready to rape some poor girl."

I hope you're not talking about yourself. Genreve thought and answered "I will."
