The sun blazed down on the tiny city as the morning kept on running 'till the snickering fog rises through riverbanks and bridges.
People were already up begun filling the roads and buildings and overpasses and highways. Started running and walking for elegant restaurants serving savoring menus, strolling and dancing in luxurious malls, cheap markets hurdled with bunch of things fetched up for mankind's lusts.
'I just can't understand the idea of living as a human.' He thought deeply while feeling the breezes swaying towards him as he stood under a sweet pepper tree firmly rooted on the top of a building says
PARADISE HOTEL
He gazed distant blue-greenish water brilliantly shimmering next to Mt. Catielyn as wind kept howling on his white soft ears. He closed his eyes and heed the buzzling sounds of Hyungdung city while his phone playing : Moon Drop by Shinee.
"Nice. Isn't it?"
He lifted his eyelid upon hearing the soft voice behind him. It was Aria. A fine girl wearing a high school uniform of checkered crimson-black collar, and end sleeves and skirt. She closed her eyes clasping her hands behind her back and felt the breeze while it swayed her short silky hair as she stood under the tree. He coldly gazed towards her and looked back feeling disturbed.
"Why are you here?" he frigidly said as she looked at him just after hearing his dark and calm yet cold voice. He paced on to the edge of rooftop fenced and stood.
She continued staring at him as she circled her hand on her ear to flip her silky hair.
"Tsk. Do you even own this place?" she put her hands on her slender waist and chortled while nodding her head.
Silence crawled.
"Anyways..." she lowered her head then pointed her foot backward and pinched her finger. She was like a little girl asking for some candies.
Stevhen held his hands on the polished grills and she continued... "I just want some air too."
His eyes went surprised as he slowly gazed towards her and searched for something. It was... loneliness.
"Did something happen?" He straightened his body and sighed.
"Huh?" She lifted her head and smiled wryly.
He gently paced towards her under the cool shade; closer to her as he put his hands on her shoulders and looked at her eyes.
"What are you doing?" She backed and looked at him shocked as ever. She stared on his eyes. On his deep blue eyes above his smooth white nose and pink small lips.
He came even closer to her face as he curved the corners of his mouth.
'Ugh! That smile!' She thought. She could already sniff his fresh fragrant smell like a fresh spring mountain bountiful with thousand glory flower, as she could hear his deep soothing breath.
He slowly lowered his head closer to her face; staring. Her long eyelashes, brown eyes and dark eyebrows blend with her glowing skin.
She backed her head as Stevhen continues to stare even closer and...
"What-!" she cut when...
He gently pushed her down on to the seat cushioned of his pillow laid on the bench next to the growing tree.
"Sit down. 'kay?" he raised his both thick eyebrows then sat next to her.
She quickly patted her cheeks and breathed heavily as white steams bursted out of her head because of blushing. Then she muttered.
"What's that for?" she faintly slapped him on his broad shoulder and continued "Don't tease me like that."
He went laughing as he eyes gazed at her wonderful embarrassed face. She crossed her eyebrows then continued punching his shoulder as soon as she realized how the young man's laugh could make her heart skip several beats.
She suddenly stopped as the wind slapped her to wake up from reality. He stopped laughing too. A howl of a car engine echoed. He circled his eyes towards the calm blue sky and floating clouds.
"Did something happened?" he asked again with no emotion while both of them looking the busy city.
"Reprimanded." She made miserable smile. It was really painful to see one of your friends getting gloomy but it was even more painful to see you friend smile yet she hides her pain.
"Hm? Why so?" He suddenly looked her with his worried eyes.
"Just because.." she sighed.
'Looks like she doesn't want to talk about it.' He sighed too.
"You should not be too hard on yourself." He lowered his head. "They may not understand you yet..." and gazed her. "...but maybe when time comes."
She tried to search for his eyes but he looked away.
"A star never rushes the morning for him to shine." He paused and sighed. "…so don't go so fast and ended leaving what's important. Right time will come for everything, no?" He said then stared again at her and smiled.
They looked at each other. The breeze swayed and the fresh leaves rattled. Its coolness damped their smooth white skins into relaxation. The silence had plunged their ears with the chirps of birds and aloof buzzes of vehicle as the song kept playing.
"But, do what you must when there still time. There are a lot of nicest things in this world you need to see." He quickly crossed his arms on his nape as he laid on his back. The leaves swayed shining with the rays of the sun. They both looked at the sky.
She felt at ease. She closed her eyes feeling the breeze, the sun, the birds, the song and thinking all the things he said.
He's already half asleep when a smirk came on.
"Pft!"
He lazily lifted one of his eyelids.
"What?" He asked.
She really laughed hard as she wrapped her arms on her stomach. He made an indifferent look.
'I was talking some serious advice yet you just laugh at me? How insulting.' He thought as can't keep himself smile too.
"You sound like an old hermit." She hardly talked as she was struggling to catch her breath.
"Well, I am old." He said shortly before closing his eye again. He just wanted to have some rest. The past few days were really tiring since rescued several mortals including a stray cat. How did he even ended up saving a stray cat? He made a long sigh. Finally, a peaceful day.
"HELP!!!!!!!!"
Stevhen's eyes came wide open as both of them went upright when they heard the call. Stevhen swiftly ran towards the grills and look at the busy city.
'The market? Mall? Street?' He thought while his eyes rolled all over the city searching for the voice's owner.
Aria stood from her seat.
"Anyone! Please help!!!!" A woman's voice echoed again but wicked chuckles of several men came. It was more like a sound from their heads echoed from a distance.
'Damn it! Can't they just give me peace for some time? He clenched his fist as he grunted.
"Aria!" he coldly commanded. His voice was so domineering that Aria's shock swept away on his single order.
"I'm on it." She made a deep breath as she calmly closed eyes and put her hands on her ears. "Clairvoyance!"
Ding!
She instantly heard the howl of the wind swaying from the sea, the chat of several high schoolers outside the cafe, the laugh of children in the playground, the rattle of leaves, footsteps of people on the street, starting engine sound of the car, a doorbell, laughs of men, a buzzing sound, noisy students and
"HELP!!" A wail of a lady.
"Gotcha!" She quickly opened her eyes then shouted to Stevhen while her hair swayed by the wind.
"23rd St. near the old high school building, beside the abandoned barber shop." She ran towards him. The wind blew stronger and her skirt flew up but she managed to push it down.
"Call the police." He grabbed the grills and lifted himself high up as he stood above the metal railings. He bent one his legs as he gazed toward Aria, his hair being swayed. His look was really cool. Easily to drool with.
"Contact Cole and catch up. 'kay?" He said.
Aria nodded. Stevhen made a long breathe as closing his eyes feeling the breeze and -- swoosh!!!
He jumped off from the rooftop of the 53rd floor building PARADISE HOTEL as descended towards the ground chanting -
"Oh thy blood sought my veins, thy light who thrust my heart. Thou bless this feather a drop of your heavenliness... Anatithenai...Primus!"
DING!!
