Flint
"Then we have to leave as soon as possible," I said quickly starting to sit up.
"We can not tell your father about where we are going," Lyric stated while being extremely close to my face. She held a worried expression.
I gave her a questionable look.
"The fairy kingdom has been a mystery to this wolf pack for several hundred years. I really can not say anything else nor can Dell. The only person you can tell that you are leaving is Glacia," Lyric said with a pondering expression.
"Since I accidentally allowed Austin to view me as well, he can be told of our departure," Lyric sighed heavily.
"I can not just pack up and leave without telling no one. I am the Alpha's son a search party will come for me." I spoke with a frustrated tone.
"Then we have to come up with a plan."
Lyric flew into my pocket to hide as I got up. I pulled out my phone and message Austin to meet in Glacia's room. I opened my door to find my father standing there. His eyes seem glassy like he was crying.
"Dad?"
He rubbed his eye the strict expression returning.
"Flint, I just want you know that my beta and myself are doing as much as we can to help Glacias." He paused, "Your cousin will be tutoring Glacia starting next week."
"For what reason?!?"
"She has not been in a pack her whole life. It would be foolish to make a run away Luna but we cannot help that she is your mate. I decided I will create her into the Luna we want."
He turn away before I could argue.
"Flint, do not make the situation worse when you are about to leave for however long that might be," Ignatius.
"I am calm Ignatius. I am just worried about my father because he only cries when he misses mom." I sighed heavily.
Glacia
I pulled the blankets over my head hoping to escape from the fear of life. I got another knock on the door and a shy voice across the room.
"It's Austin. Uh. Flint told me he would meet me here." He looked around the room as his head poked out behind the door.
"He either is not here or is hiding."
I poked my head out of the blankets.
"No, he isn't in here. He left the room when his father came to talk to me." I sighed heavily.
Austin chuckled, "Big papa alpha scared you."
He made eye contact with me as I glared at him.
"Is it alright if I wait in the room for Flint."
"As long as you do not come too close you are welcome."
His brown lifted in question but he took a seat in the chair on the far side of the room.
"What did the Scary Alpha want to talk to you about?"
"I am not fit to be Luna the way I am so his niece will train me to be the Luna the pack wants."
"Your thoughts on becoming Luna?"
"I feel unfit for the position and nothing will change that." I looked up at the ceiling, "since I am Flint's mate so say. I can not run from my so called destiny."
"I know the feeling of being unfit for the part, future beta right here. Flint might look like a natural born alpha but he struggles just like anyone. You might believe you were born for one purpose but destiny smacks you in the face while turning you in a 360."
"Austin, I am sure you will be a great beta for Flint. Destiny definitely knew what she was doing when she smacked you."
We both laughed but it died down when Flint entered the room.
Flint
I open the bedroom door letting the laughter escape.
"I have news." Is all I could manage to say. The silence penetrated the room before hitting Glacia's lips
"Is it news on a cure to bring back Coin?" She spoke with a shaky voice.
I checked the halls before shutting the door completely.
"Lyric told me the Fairy Queen has answers."
"We cannot waste anymore time." Glacia said as she took the the blankets off. Brandy had gave her a baggy white T-shirt and blue shorts. The colors made her eyes deeper and skin darker. I quickly walked over to her side putting my hand on her shoulder to stop her.
"I have to go if this is how I regain Coin!" Tears rolled down her cheeks as she yelled at me. I held her head against my abs while running my hand through her hair as she cried. Austin sat awkwardly in the chair not sure what to do about the crying girl. she cried for several minutes before pulling away.
"It will not be an easy journey to the Fairy Kingdom. My lady you are not in the proper condition to embark on it." Dell stated between the both of us. I turned to Austin.
"Would you cover for me?"
"You are not going to a kingdoms unknown location alone."
"I will not be completely alone Lyric is coming as well."
"She is not a warrior Fairy."
Lyric talked in Flint's ear, "I am only a healing fairy but I cannot heal major injuries for someone that is ten times my size."
"I do not want to leave Glacia completely alone."
Dell flew in front of Flint, "Sir Flint, Glacia will have me if any danger is to come I will transform into my human form to protect her."
"I am coming alone with you rather or not you need your beta along to have your back."
Dell flew toward Austin.
"Only a blood related alpha is allowed in the Fairy Kingdom so some point of the journey you will not be able to cross. When that happens I advise you to come back here as quickly as possible."
"Why?"
"The border for the Fairy Kingdom was not put up to keep the Kingdom invisible. It was put up to protect Kingdom safe from unwanted beast. I will not explain the unwanted horrors of those creatures."
"It is decided Austin, Lyric and I will venture to the Fairy Kingdom. Austin will come back when we reach the border."
"What am I supposed to tell your father if he ask where you went."
"He will not believe that Flint and I left to goofy off like usual. He believes Flint will not leave you alone here. Tell him we are doing our own investigation and to not worry."
"You cannot tell him we went to the Fairy Kingdom. If he asks about the Fairy Kingdom you tell him we went to the Vampires."
"Why the Vampires?"
"The Count has been alive for centuries. If anyone would have information they would be the first to go if our information does not have anything."
Glacia
He kissed me deeply as they walked out the door and for some reason I had a bad feeling about all of this.
