"Don't drink coffee at night, you won't be able to fall asleep later. Have some Pu Er tea instead. It's not as potent as caffeine but it can help sharpen you up a little without affecting your sleep. It's pretty good," Yan Huaian explained.
He made her a pot of Pu Er tea and poured a cup for Yu Zi to drink while she worked.
After that, he quietly sat aside to read a book. He did not turn on the television in case it disturbed her work.
Yan Huaian did not give any comments professionally nor did he ask her much about the work she was doing. All he did was accompany her in total silence and it made Yu Zi feel comfortable.
She felt like she would never feel tired as long as he was there by her side. His presence did not act as a distraction, instead, it helped her focus on her work.
It was now that she realized how nice it was to have someone accompany her quietly.
