Chapter 4 - Chapter four

Light engulfed me as I felt a tingling sensation, like a bird's wings scraping slightly against water, creating beautiful ripples in time and creating vast lands and opportunities.

"You call that magic? Ha! If you said that, i'll make sure I make that wretch suffer a ignominious* defeat."

I turned around to see a blonde water spirit. She was probably noble, as she had curled hair in ringlets, a disgustingly pink dress that looked like a unicorn vomitted on it, and a pastel pink fan with rubies on it covering her mouth, which definitely held a smirk.

She looked absolutely obnoxious and irritating. Arrogant? Check. Flaunting riches? Check. Spoilt? Check.

Yep, that's a noble, alright.

"You want to fight? Ha. People like you are who I vehemently* hate."

A laugh-like whisper resounded, like bells jingling in the wind, soft and gentle, yet crystal clear, "Alright then. Let's fight, you spoilt brat."

'Close your eyes.'

I complied, my vision flashing red, and in a second, I was in appropriate battle gear.

'Good girl.'

"Elquior! Defeat the girl!"

"Woah! Elquior is helping the noble family of Yang!"

"I heard he's a great butler, and also conveniently shares a name with mythical fallen angel!"

I raised an eyebrow, going into the attacking position. Moving fast, my figure blurred, smoke and dust flying everywhere as I had my sword against the Yang's daughter. Pushing it closer in, blood pricking out of her neck. Well that's going to leave a scar...

"Who- Who are you? Elquior! Listen to my command, hurry!"

"Your butler won't come. Listen up, i'm... Azalea. Just give up no-"

"Ara, do I really have to? She's like a delicate flower."

A smooth, buttery voice replied to his master, walking out and placing a hand on his chest, feigning hurt.

"Ah! You-"

That voice! I've heard it before! When was it?

'Close your eyes.'
