May 1st, 2030, Siachen Glacier, the Indian side.
Time: 0400 hours
Aditi looked at her team. Today was her first day on her team - the Indian Invincible Warriors Sect.
She had taken over after the death of Rajeev, the previous leader and her husband. A pang of guilt struck her heart as she thought of him. They had been married for just six months. They had been dating for the past five years. She had been happy as hell six months ago when they got married. Now, it was all gone. All because of the Chinese. But the one responsible was the most despicable of them - Li Jinkin.
Li Jinkin and Rajeev had fought tooth and nail for the Siachen glacier. India and China has been fighting for it for the past nine years. Control of the Siachen would effectively give China control of the Karakkoram pass giving them a virtual free pass into India.
Rajeev had retained for them the control of the glacier but in doing so, he sacrificed himself in an artificial avalanche that too down quite a few from the Chinese Sect.
But it hasn't taken down Li. He was still alive and kicking. He would be back for the glacier and the pass.
When he returned, Aditi would be ready. She would show him hell on Earth!
Siachen Glacier, the Chinese side, a good few hundred miles away from the Indian camp,
Li Jinkin cursed, "Rajeev thou unholy bastard! What's your bloody problem! You had to take down my best men didn't you! If rather be dead than in this hell!"
He looked at the scared subordinate next to him, "Bring me some maps!" He ordered.
The scared guy ran to get what Li wanted.
Li was left to his own devices as the kid went to bring some maps.
To say that he was in a bad mood was an understatement. He was furious beyond belief. After fighting for Siachen for five years, he had come as close as a hair's breadth to it.
But that bastard Rajeev, always there to foil his plans. After fighting for eight hours in a skirmish with Rajeev and his team, after losing three jets and six copters, he had managed to force Rajeev's team to retreat. They finally had control it Siachen. Or so he had thought. Rajeev had rigged the entire place.
Rajeev had approached him stealthyly as usual. He had been expecting a counter attack. He had been prepared for one so it was no surprise to him that Rajeev was here. His surprise was that Rajeev was alone. Rajeev engaged them in a battle but was quickly beaten down. Li hadn't been happier.
Until the moment Rajeev grinned like a buffoon when he should have been begging for mercy. He took out a knife and stabbed himself in the chest.
That was when everything went wrong for Li. Rajeev had a detonator on his heart to all the bombs in the glacier and the ones on him.
Li was pissed that he hadn't thought of something so obvious as suicide bombing. Even after years, Rajeev had managed to outwit him, coming in looking like a ragged and desperate man and blowing up like a Christmas tree.
Worst part was that Li fell for it. He believed that he had made Rajeev desperate. He was partly right. Rajeev WAS desperate. When he blew, he took down seven of Li's men with him. The avalanche threatened to take much more. He was left with no choice but to leave Siachen and retreat, lest the Indian invincibles find him. He left with a heavy heart. He vowed to gain control of the glacier and the pass within the next year even if it was the last thing he did. He would revenge his best friend. He would avenge the girl he loved.
Li was the supreme commander of not only the Chinese invincible sect but also the entire Chinese army. He would show these Indians just why he was who he was!
