"What I mean is, she is a control freak. She cares too much about her image than your feelings. Girls you date must be from high society and have their own business, their own capital because that's what life is all about." I said.
"Love is just a fantasy in her eyes, it is not real nor possible. She is the woman who will do everything to get what she wants, and to hell with what everyone thinks," Eleanor said whilst looking at him with an arched eyebrow.
This dude really needs to start confessing his feelings. He needs to tell his mother she's suffocating him, or else he will live a miserable life.
"Like your current girlfriend, she lives in nothing but grass food and exercises all the time. She is arrogant and bitchy not that I am any better. I am a bit judgmental but I feel that I am qualified to be." I said with sass.
"You see people from your high-end society are stuck up bitches and assholes because they have money. They suddenly think they own the world, you too included so no pan intended." I told him.
"I don't like the way you are talking about my mother, it's disrespectful. Don't forget your place, " the two sisters next to their mother were actually impressed with the way this girl acted.
"Somebody must say it since you are too much of a coward to face your mother, and admit your feelings. Ain't you a bit happy that I am being your messenger and savior?" I said with sarcasm.
"You are a weak man, that is too scared to hurt his mother's feelings. Raincheck, she does not give a fuck about yours. If she did, she would have never gotten rid of Phoebe."
Quiet, frozen.
Everybody stood still with shock and anguish, who was this girl and how much did she really know about their family?
"Seriously?" I arched an eyebrow "You all knew it, but you just ignored it," she chuckled.
"Again remember, I had a mother like yours. she killed herself because she still wanted attention. She wanted people to talk about it and she wanted people to blame my father because he divorced her. As if that was a crime. I mean, people divorce all the time."
"My auntie actually did blame my father, but I never gave her the satisfaction. So, this is simple. Your mother is a selfish bitch, who by no means care about any of you. She complains about the youth you stole from her, the body she will never get back. The blood, sweat, and tears she offered to build this empire." I said and continued to say.
"Like really?" I sassed " When did she make a contribution here? I mean, she was found by your father roaming around the streets." The senior was appalled, what's with this girl?
"Little girl, did you do a background check on my family?" he said with a sneer, I laughed.
"I love computers Mr. Bryson, and if you have a computer anything is possible," she tilted her head.
"Anyway, I happen to stumble on your family history when I was doing a background check on your company. My professor always advised me to never go anywhere blind when applying for a job. By the way, why is your history there?" It is stupid really.
"I hope you have not shared any of this with your friends," said the senior with agitation.
Well, they have internet for that.
"Relax Senior Bryson, I am not that vindictive. I just like teasing that's all," she said mischievously.
That is when the Bryson women entered the office. The mother pinned me with a death glare, I smirked.
"My mother used to use that look against my father when he met with female clients. It was very scary when I was little, but now it is just like a bit of a pinch."
The woman was blotted with anger, she looked like a red chili pepper. I swear I saw vapor coming out of her ears.
"You look ridiculous. Is that supposed to scare me? You just look like a scorned kitten, I feel like doing a baby talk to you. You just look so cute." I said amused and this made her scream out of anger.
She advanced for me, with a high speed. She looked like a crazed witch, from one of those Harry Potter movies, small world.
"You insolent bitch," she venomously said.
Really? Was that supposed to scare me? She tried to slap me, but I stopped all her advances. She was fuming with anger, I found it hilarious. The mockery must have been shown in my eyes, as this made her spit at me.
Let me tell you something... I hate someone who spits at me. The woman might have been a psycho, but I was dip-shit crazy. I swear I will kill her at this moment, a sad thing Adrian knew about this behavior of mine.
He acted so fucking fast taking his mother away from my sight, I might have been a bit shocked. I am sure that my eyes were so cold, they almost seemed inhuman. I was about to advance for her, but Adrian decided to speak on his mother's behalf.
"Eleanor, Please forgive her. She can't help herself. She has bipolar and personality disorder. Most of the time she does not know what she is doing." I still advanced, I really was not paying that much attention to what he was bubbling.
How dare she spit her dirty saliva on my face?
Disgusting, utterly disgusting. How dare she?
I was vibrating with anger inside and very calm on the outside, I knew something about disorders, most of all bipolar. I was bipolar, he knew that I nearly killed one of his flings once. She did what his bitch of mother did just now.
"Eleanor, Eleanor sweetheart please listen to me." Uh...! Did he just call me his sweetheart?
I frowned and looked at him. I think he didn't realize what he said. See, he knew the buttons to push and my lovesick self was mushy and giddy inside. Already forgetting that his bitchy mother spit on my face.
"I will forgive her because you just called me sweetheart, that is very appealing and it will make the secretary jealous." Adrian sighed with relief, he didn't want his mother to experience the brutality of Eleanor, she was crazy.
The way she beat Lena when she did what his mother did, was inhuman and had cost him a fortune to make sure she did not go to jail.
Eleanor was something he couldn't lose, she was everything he was not. She was brave and a tease, she did not fear to be judged and he knew she would do anything to protect him.
He fell in love with the girl the moment she stepped into his office for the interview. She was not dressed for one and did not sit like she was in an interview, and did not hide her personality to dupe them of who she really was.
"Eleanor enough, get back to work." she laughed.
"Didn't you fire me not so long ago? Seriously, your indecisive mind is giving me a whiplash." she sarcastically said.
"Don't make me stick with my decision Eleanor," he grumbled.
"Yeah like you have the guts to," she answered while she headed for the door.
"I fail to understand why you are letting her walk all over you, " said the woman he calls mother.
"What is the difference from what you do mother?" he asked with a blank face, the woman gasped dramatically.
"Adrian, you dare speak that way with your mother?" I scoffed, gee the guilt trip trick.
"Wow, guilt-tripping? So overrated," I said before I left the bitch and her family there, I need to wash my face.
