Chaos reigned at the dawn of eternity. It was the progenitor of the universe.

It gave birth to 4 different primordial beings. Light, life, death, and darkness. Two factions (Life and Light, Death and Darkness) which were to be forever at odds holding the universe together in an infinite stalemate.

At their creation the 4 primordial were bound by an inherent pact to maintain an equilibrium.

Such was the way of the universe for millennia.

That was, until after the birth of the gods.
