The mages at the forefront surged with ferocity. With the mysterious mage forcibly ripping through the enemies' defense, they had a lot more room to breathe and reorganize. The troops were immediately rearranged and they clashed heavily against the distracted enemies.
The others at the back were utterly confused, but seeing how they were making progress, they dropped all the unnecessary thoughts and resolutely charged as well. They wouldn't let a chance like this slip by.

There were more than 80 enemies, and for sure, Aeon was not capable of slaughtering all of them.
In fact, he was starting to get tired. The focus he needed to maintain in order to avoid getting pinned down as he moved consumed a lot of his mental strength. His goal was simply to pave the way for his allies here. Now that he finally succeeded, it was time to disengage.
Aeon moved to make his escape.
