The unit currently being led by Toran Fiore consisted of about 150 mages. Most of these mages belonged to the two elite squads formed by General Solare Samo and Klein arvent. The rest were high-ranked Academy staff.
Aside from the ongoing clash at the center of the battlefield and the small skirmishes happening here and there, the other areas were relatively peaceful. They had finally regained the advantage given by the mist. That's why they were able to pull out the strongest mages of their force and rushed to assist.
However, these people were no longer in their best conditions. They had already used up a huge amount of magic earlier in the chaos.
