Aeon, Suri, Korona, Leona, and the unconscious Rhyme dropped all the way to the bottom of the pit. There, a fairly large tunnel extended into the darkness.
Leona began beating up Aeon for knocking out Rhyme during such a situation.
The colossal beast wasn't that much of a problem. The issue was that a fight against one with high regenerative abilities was draggy. It would at least take more than 10 minutes. Moreover, they were right beside the sea where the creature could come and go anytime it pleased.
Rhyme and Korona were supposed to be the ones to lock it down so that Leona could kill it. But because of Aeon, her plan was ruined. Aeon wouldn't be able to take charge of locking the beast's movements. Korona wouldn't be able to handle it alone.
Leona's finishing blow was a slap across Aeon's face. Aeon was thrown into the tunnel.
"Urgh! I hate running away!" Leona cursed.
