Anastasia woke up with sharp pains penetrating her private part, in her confused state she wanted to scream as her sister's husband was forcing himself into her. He noticed she may scream and placed his hands hardly, covering her mouth and preventing her from screaming for help. Anastasia cried all the while he raped her, she cursed him beneath her breath, but she was too fragile and little to fight him. This made everything turn around for Anastasia, the very day she lost her father, that was the same day she was raped by her sister's husband.
Days passed and her exams commenced, she barely concentrated, she became a shadow of herself, she couldn't talk to anyone.
Then her family asked that she be taken home to attend her father's burial, but her elder sister refused, saying she was writing exams and should be allowed to concentrate. As much as she tried to forget and forge ahead, the more painful it was for her, and she has had to live with this stigma for the rest of her life.
