"But who are you really?". It's a question most people get asked at one point. Whether it's by someone you know, or just someone you met in the countless halls of a school building that eventually labeled you 'Inordinate'. This type of question is especially hard to answer when you don't know the answer yourself. In all honesty, I don't think anyone will ever truly have an idea of who the are, we just trick ourselves into thinking... believing we are somebody. I am Caroline Baker, and this is my story.

The only people that know what I am, is Mother and the Grand council. My soon to be new school principal and teachers most likely have been told. I'm not normal, in fact... I'm probably the farthest form normal somebody could be. I'm about to be thrown into the hands of the most prestigious academic schools of gifted arts and magic. I'm not going to make friends, I have a completely different schedule than most other students, more classes and more training, there's no time for other people. I'd like to think of my power as a curse, but apparently since it's so strong, it's a gift, though destructions sounds more like a curse to me. "Shape the world", something my mother always told me to do. I was adopted by a rich family, my mother had died in an accident that was caused by me, I was almost kidnapped. It was the first time I had ever used my power, it got dark, really dark, and by the time it got light again, my mother and the man were on the floor... Dead. The council heard about the report and dropped me to this family. They trained me like I was about to fight the entire world, I almost never slept, but I guess it's all worth it in the end.

I run downstairs only to find all my luggage in the foyer near the door. I can hear my dragon outside being loaded into the trailer. Father comes downstairs with a scowl on his face. "Don't disappoint this family Caroline, get in the car, we're leaving." With my head down, I head to the car and wait for father to come out. The Nymph (Maid) hauls my luggage to the portal and it activates. "Young miss, your luggage will be in your dorm room at your arrival." Shes so kind to me, I wish father treated her better. Speak of the devil, he hops into the car and we drive off. About an hour later, we arrive at the crystal. I get out and tack up my Dragon Kratos. My father gives me a wave as Kratos takes off into the sky. The farther we get into the sky, the closer the crystal gets. One last glance at the floor, "Here goes nothing".
