This morning when I woke up the maids dressed me up and told me my parents had something Important to tell me. After getting dressed I went down to the Living room expecting to see my parents there. I went into the kitchen and they were talking to Edmond. He was always stalking me and following me everywhere I go.

" Sweetie we have some important news to tell you. You are going to marry Edmond to bring peace between us." my mom said.

"But mum you know how much I hate him. I can't get married to him. He is evil." I said back to her but I know she isn't going to do anything.

" Sweetie we're doing this for you. Since there is going to be a wedding there will be a party tonight and everyone would be there. Don't embarrass yourself ivy." My dad said.

" But dad I can't marry him he was "that person". She argued backed to her dad hoping that would change something.

" He doesn't seem like that and stop joking around and just accept it. It's going to happen sinner or later. I have no time for this." My father stated.

"Get ready for this party this instant young lady and I won't take no for an answer. This is a really important party so Lilly go dress her and and get her ready." My mom screamed.

"Yes my lady I will certainly get Miss Ivy ready. She will be the diamond of the party." Lily said to my mom.

I still can't believe that this is happening to me I don't want to marry him I need to think of a way to escape this party. I thought to myself. No one needs to know about this.

At the party or Ball

"Uggh I can't believe I have to do this." I said.

I walked up to Edmond and kissed his cheek. I held on to his arm like I love him. Ewww!

"Oh I love you my princess I can't wait to marry you" he said to me.

"I love you too and I feel the same." I said to him trying to pretend that I really mean it because I really don't want to marry him but my parents would be really mad at me so I can't mess anything up. I have to continue to act like I love him in front of all these guests. I grabbed two bottles of champagne and gave one to Edmond.

"Here's a cup of champagne for you my love." I said sweetly to him.

" Thank you princess you didn't have to do that." He replied

I could just here the whispers around saying OMG they are such a great couple. I can't believe that they are getting married. They are so sweet to each other. That really need to stop these gossips.

After a while my parents went to the stage and I followed along with Edmond.

"Ladies and gentlemens I have a really special announcement today. I'm going to announce the marriage of my daughter Ivy and her fiancé Edmond." He said in the mike so everyone could hear it .

They were all cheering. I totally don't feel the same way. I hate him so why won't my parents

Understand that. It's like they don't understand my feelings at all. I really hate them right now and I hate myself for feeling that way but I can't help it.
