Somewhere in a different universe, under the dark murky sky and the never-ending cries was a black river named Hadeon. It was in the lowest part of the Demon world, a place of birth and death. Since the beginning of time there have been 665 birth cycles and each cycle the river Hadeon gave birth to demons. Although the birth strengthened the demon race as a whole, it weakened the spiritual force of the river.
The everlasting sky roared like an angry dragon as the river Hadeon dried up and became a dry land covered with tens of hundreds of eggs, demon eggs to be exact. In the midst of the ear-deafening sound, an egg cracked open and in it was a snake-like creature sporting two small horns on its head.
The creature opened its snake-like eyes, and its first thoughts were.''At last! I am out of this shell.'' When the snake-like creature named Zaphreal Styx crawled out of the demon egg, a high pitch sound attacked his sensitive ear flaps.
" Welcome, number seven. You can't see me at your current level, but don't worry, I'm going to guide you."
If Zaphreal wasn't a snake but a human he would shake his head instead of his vertebrae or scream until his lungs were empty instead of slithering in an unknown language."Who are you and what did you do to me?"
"Silence your tongue and listen! My name is Inferno, and I am your examinator, which means I am your judge, jury, and executioner and also your savior, salvation and your redeemer. First! Do you see all those bizarre-looking eggs over there?"
Zaphreal narrowed his eyes and scanned his surroundings. He was on a little red hill surrounded by red, glowing eggs and demonic birds flying over his head.
"Yes! I see those eggs, but where the bleep am I and what are those flying birds over there."
"Silence! Did I ask you to look at those demon lords flying on a demonic bird? No, I didn't ask you to look at them. But anyway. I will still tell you who those ugly demon bleepers are. Do you see that demon riding on that vermilion bird."
Zaphreal squinted his eyes further and saw a black-skinned female without eyes, riding on what looked like a phoenix. The place where her eyes should have been was now two horns.
"Good, fantastic. You are now following my orders, but anyway. That demon over there is called Naya Nyaferth and she is one of the three archdukes of See Evil, Hear Evil, Speak Evil faction. And guess which one she is? Now, look at the second ugly bleeper."
Zaphreal gazed at the pale white grotesque demon that had numerous tentacles coming out his mouth.
"I know, if I had a stomach I would also vomit, but anyway that demon is also an arch-douchebag, oops! I mean to say archduke and his name is Bla Blaablaaa. Don't look at me like that, I am serious his name is Bla Blaablaaa."
Without waiting for Inferno, Zaphreal stared at the red demon that had horns as ears and asked, "Inferno, Why don't they land?"
"So boy! Why aren't you waiting for my orders and no I will not say my stopword this time. That red gigantic beast is Clash and is also an archduke of See Evil, Hear Evil, Speak Evil faction. And why they are not landing on the ground, is because I sealed this part of the Demon world about six thousand years ago. So boy are you ready to be judged?"
Zaphreal didn't know what Inferno meant by are you ready to be judge, heck he also didn't know where the bleep he was. The last thing he could remember was the screaming kids behind him and the fat lady that was squealing beside him. Suddenly a translucent screen with black words appeared in front of him.

Zaphreal opened his eyes wide and scanned his surroundings for the second time. There were almost three hundred eggs, each about two feet long, scattered on the ground. Zaphreal glared at the egg in front of him and decided not to be the prey instead he be the predator.
He squirmed his way to the black egg and broke the egg with his sharp horns. Blue liquid and a snake-like creature flooded out of the egg, the snake-like creature was dead before he or she could hatch. A high pitched voice screamed at him and said."Congratulations, you killed it. Now feed on that pathetic, ugly larva. "
At first, Zaphreal Styx didn't want to eat the larva, but after long consideration, he ate it without hesitation.

After he saw the message bar, Zaphreal opened his mouth wide open and slithered to eggs near him.

By the time the larvas hatched and began to eat each other, Zaphreal had already raised all his statistics to 7.5 points. After he devoured one hundred larvae, another message bar appeared before him.

Zaphreal saw three 3d holographic beings in front of him. The seducer was a thin humanoid being with two horns on his head, the Imp was a small fox with tentacle tails, and the Heartless was a translucent flying insect.

Zaphreal examined the three base classes carefully and decided to choose the seducer because he wanted to look like a human.
After he became a seducer, all the larvas stopped eating each other and stared viciously at Zaphreal Styx. It was like a pack of wolves staring at a huge predator. Not wanting to be ganged up by them, he walked slowly to the higher ground. After Zaphreal left the feeding area, the larvas became calm and started to eat each other up.
"So boy! Now that you've become a big boy, are you ready for the next chapter?"
"What do you mean with are you ready for the next chapter?" Zaphreal asked.
"There are two ways to become a bigger boy. The first way is to become an acolyte of some obscured demon lord or gain points and rise to become a demon lord. The second way is more fun I will send you as a tempter to one of the nine worlds."
"Can I become a human, can I return to my homeworld?"
"Yes, you can become a human, elf, orc, or even a sea monster. It all depends on what kind of mission you have. So boy, are you ready to become a tempter or a low acolyte?"
Zaphreal was tempted by the chance to return to his home and choose to become a tempter.
