Chapter 76 - (Sanguinary) 1

"THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!!!"

Michael's scream, which was infused with some sort of unstable energy, boomed out like a sentient tempest. Pushing away the field of wooden tables and chairs nearby whilst pulling onto the opposing foes like large kites.

The leading carmine eyed man was planning on responding to the baneful ignition, evident by how his eyes burnt ever brighter. However, the moment he used to refocus was one too long.

Before he could fully clear his rumbled mind, Michael violently smashed his foot into the shattering plank floor and shot himself forwards like a speeding car. Leaving behind a sleet of wooden splinters in his wake, and a trailing black streak which seemed to hold a maniacal smile.

The cloak covering Michael's body trashed against the air pressue like a flower placed in the midst of a tropical storm. However, it only seemed to get slighty peeled back when faced by the inhuman speed. Almost like the fabric was attached to his skin.

As Michael blew through the atmosphere, he listened to the vivd throbs of clattered oxygen and the huming ring sing inside his head. Repeating their melody before letting the two synchronize. Sparking his brain into a state which seemed to make time slow down.

His burning yellow eyes to transform into raging pits of light as the new song echoed within his mind. Making them exerting a hostility which could crack the minds of other like dried grass.

'Fast...'

The carmine eyed man felt the signals from his brain grow more muddled and delayed as he peered into these eternal holes of firey gold. It sendt a hemming interference into his body which temporarily stole part of his control over it. Making him unable to properly respond in time.

And now without any resistance or obstructions, Michael's shadow swung out it's gauzy arm like a dark whip. Aiming the faint image of his skating palm straight, and then slamming it into the red eyed sack like a plate sized boulder.

The impact was similar to one between a iron sledgehammer and a copper gong. Blasting away the carmine eyed man like a helmet hit by a bat, and releasing a shockwave containing the residual thundering of a smashed drum.

With the booming resonance, the profound carmine eyes turned into darting rays of amazement as he brutally flew past his companions, and wacked through the wall behind with a loud crack. Tumbling off like a rodent pumped with a slug of hot lead.

However, as Michael saw the man roll away, he stopped smiling for a second. Having one single thought resonate inside his mind while he aimed his line of sight at the fired limb.

'Heavy..'

But as he reminisced about the steady sensation, the encompassing individual's looked over at him in bewildered horror. Glimpsing onto the club that had smacked their leader away.

The rough hand and fingers looked like those belonging to a middle-aged man. However, attached on each tip laid shrapnels of dark glass deeply embedded. Reflected an acromatic shine identical to the one on the bracers of rugged pelt which coiled up the rest of this creatue's limb.

"T..This...is..." The closest cloaked individual, who still held onto the pulsating red sphere of glass stuttered out. Staring in alarm while sensing the beating scryer respond faster.

However, as he scraggly mumbled, Michael's figure flashed forwards again. Disappearing from reality in a blinding wisp.

A sting of fright burrowed through the sphere holder's ashen figure when he sensed the faint gust of malice aim itself at him. Unconsciously provoking his body to hurridly try and back off.

Sadly, the moment his foot landed back onto the trembling old wood, two flaming yellow crevices sizzled back into reality alongside a smiling shade of lust.

He wanted to say something. However, before the signals fully managed to travel through his nevous system, a familiar black rocket shot out from the materializing shadow like a chameleon's tounge. Easily breaking through his chest like sheet cardboard, and instantly turning his heart into a mashed fruit.

The red eyes thumped once before growing dimmer. Loosing their radiance as the strength started to leave the scryer holder's trembling body. Yet, it did not stem from the disappearance of his core. Rather, it originates from a draining sensation which sucked away all the core components in his body.

And as the Holder felt the beating sphere escape the now shallow grip and his body turn into a deflating white husk, he only managed to cough out one last saddened line which reflected the final thing he managed to see.

"Mon....ster..."

The rest of the company wanted to fly in and try to save him. However, Michael granted them no leeway for even a split second.

Before any of them could take another breath, he crossed his arms. Gradually embracing the void whilst commanding his genes to roll. Creating a vortex of air which immediately started to brew inside the tavern. Spinning around with the acceleration of a speeding bullet, and then gradually coil itself around Michael's body like a whirlpool of white snakes.

The wind almost instantaneously reached a point of zenith, swallowing Michael's entire figure in a sphere of flashing atmospheric blades. shredding apart the drained corpse like a maculated slab of curled paper, and dyeing the generated globe with a ghastly haze. Making his shadowy image appear like a vengeful wraith.

Feeling the confrontation reach a dangoures point made the other red eyes try and create some distance. Proceeding to kick their feet down with a deep elegance and glide towards the walls in hopes of escaping.

However, the moment they fled was when Michael striked.

---

[Innate Ability: Warp]

---

With his arms fully crossed, a flare of power rattled the nucleic information inside his body once again. Stimulating a single line of code which then bendt the world to his will.

The spinning sphere grew more distorted and indescribable as space seemed to fracture around it. Loading the charging storm with a bundle of hollow ice shards.

And with the globe of doom fully armed, Michael screamed out whilst smacking open his embrace. Pushing in the pin!

"HA!!!!"

Like a detonated frag grenade, the spehere exploded apart in an imploding hurricane. Sending away an eternally expanding tornado of cresent knifes alongside a hail of distorted raindrops.

The gale blasted the individuals away like ragdolls, whilst pulling apart every single structure in sight like an incendiary shock wave. Flattening the entire building with the force of an air strike.

And as the unstable tide relentlessly howled, the attack further fuelled itself with the broken shards of wood needles and metal nails. Devouring the entire segment of land in an organic cloud.

However, the murky screen that laid itself over the area lasted only for a few breaths before being pushed away by another breeze. Soothing the singing shrieks residing within the wind.

The trembling bellows slowly turned to whispers, and the consumed field which had been ravaged by the fog of brown dust and white mist faded. Displaying the landscape once again.

The entire area was leveled to the ground. Tainted by torn wooden constructions and mangled limbs that were spread around like fallen leavs. All trapped by a shawl of soiled mist which had curled around the scarred section. Enclosing it like the walls found within a prehistoric pit.

However, while this once flourishing part was gone, a faintly discernible mast of dark textile could still be seen stationed in the middle. Not having been affected in the least.

Michael had not moved. Still standing barefoot in this barren courtyard of waste with his cloaked frame and vivid yellow eyes. Looking over the desolate arena he had created with a satisfactory smirk.

"My [warp] doesn't possess nearly the same amount of power as that Cheryl girl had... Could it be because the bloodline is incomplete?"

Yet, as he savored the taste of control, another sensation occupied the root in his mind. Firing off in tact with the familiar, haunting ticks. It was one that had suddenly made his smile fade like the weather. One reflecting a begrudging dissatisfaction he was unable to understand.

But while Michael felt the bitter feeling crawl around his brainstem, the muscles in his body abrubtly twitched. Sensing a disturbance that was headed his way.

With a lightning quick turn, Michael claw out his pelted arm through the air. Aiming for the direction where the hostile presence came from.

"Bang!!!"

A loud smashing sound then reverberated out as his hand crashed into what seemed to be a palm shaped cannonball of blood. Shattering the projectile into muddy bits.

Michael's eyes burnt brighter once more as his head turned over to the side. Locking the steadfast glare onto whatever had fired it.

A couple breaths away stood one of the men he had sendt flying. Now lacking the dark cloak.

His eyes were dark red like the color on a whitered rose, fitted onto a broad, naked head holding some similarities to an old vase. All being attached to a robust body which had been equipped by a full set of heavy fur armour, seemingly constructed from a red metal. Hiding most of the white skin underneath the tight, dark red mantle.

Michael sized the broad baldy up. Scanning his every detail with a thorough look before starting to fleck his teeth.

"Was that the best you got?" Michael mockingly chirped. Finding the getup quite funny.

However, as his scorn shone out, the broad figure started to burn with a bloody aura. Making the rubble beneath his mighty frame tremble like mice before transitioning over into a levitating colony of circling rubble.

Michael's smirk laid itself to rest as both his arms blew out of the pelted cloak. Readying them like two dark maces and coating them in a wrathful vapor.

"Boom!!"

The man's previous position exploded in a cloud of ruin as he propelled himself at Michael. Charging straight whilst clad in a transparent cape of red, and a equipped with death stare even buddah would forbid.

As the distance between them rapidly shrunk, Michael sendt a vibration through the ground whilst clenching his fists. Repeating a chant within his head.

'Speed times strength, times distance and lenght..'

His every of fiber connected to the earth. Linking up with the very essence of this land through an invisible bundle of expanding strings.

'Plus the power, and then demand..'

The charger then appeared before his vision in an oozing red haze. Stringing Michael's image into the red eyes before sending out an ashen palm aimed at his head...

"Now suffer the principle which I command!"

And as the moment of impact closed in, Michael threw forth his own fist whilst also powering it with the energy of chaos. Sinking the rapmant force into every cell in his hand, and turning the limb into something resembling a heated rod.

Now enhanced with the infinite plates of stone and rock beneath his feet, and powered by the primordial force of disorder, Michael hammered his knuckles at the opposing spade of conditioned skin.

"Boom!!"

As the two objects connected, a radiant beam of lightning bolts burst out through the chargers hand like the bullets fired from a spread round. Searing the white skin black before letting the rest of this heretic power traverse.

The charger agonizingly grimaced whilst the horrendous burns kicked his brain into overdrive. Makinh him to helplessly roll back. Feeling the atoms in his arm get visually incinerated. Smattered away from the chaotic flood which mercilessly tore through his flesh like a starving hive of bullet ants.

However, as he fumbled away like a torn rag, Michael started to madly chase. Smashing the soil beneath his feet into hardened clay while loading the other hand with an untested genetic code.

---

[Innate Ability: Scorched Charge]

---

His free arm followed up the previous actions. Cocking itself back like a positioned missile while having the DNA integrate. Rapidly turning the dark fur and skin into a blazing volcanic rock, before then having a web of yellow veins burrow beneath the glaced dermis. Giving Michael's entire forearm the look of a meteorite entering the atmosphere.

The charger's grimace of pain momentarily ceaced when he saw the crazed wolf drive through the road of waste with broad steps. Replacing his current torment with a frantic desire for life.

Michael's heart seemed to skip a beat when he saw the man struggle. Removing the lingering feeling of dissatisfaction, and filling his brain with a pleasurable high as he stared at the miserable sight.

The black lips pushed themselvs back once again while the muscles in Michael's cheeks burnt with an unstable jolt. Twisting every cell until they formed the hungering smile of a starved beast.

"AHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" Michael screamed out with a horrific shriek similar to the sound generated by a melting toy.

The man's terrified crawling turned to violent squirmes as the vocal needles of ice sizzled down his mental fortitude, and made him forget all reason.

However, as Michael neared his target, the crazed grin abrubtly disappeared. Getting shut down by a familiar sense of danger.

"Chaos..."

While the meteoric arm glided through the air, Michael stuck one of his moving feet into the dirt. Forcing his body still.

With the motion now gone, Michael stretched the schorching mound of burning matter towards the sky before charging it with red lightning. Letting the air crack around it before then, with all his might, let the scalded comet descend like crashing plane.

*Boom!!!*

An explosion of blazed air rippled through the encompassing space with a vile clap. Charring the surrounding dirt, and smearing it with a putrid smoke holding a sulfuric stench.

"Tsk...."

---

[Innate Ability: Air control]

---

*Swoosh!!!*

The inky smog was quickly cleared with another burstful breeze generated from Michael's body. Revealing the people behind.

His cloaked figure was now enveloped by two more similarly dressed opponents. Possessing skin which had been torched into into firewood, and thinner frames than the previous charger. However, at this moment they also shared a limp of stance with their face digging straight into the bleached soil.

They lifelessly rested on the ground of charcoal with steaming blood flushing out from their bodies like the water inside a toilet. Having been completely ravaged internally when exposed to the irradiated cells of organic magma and material disorder.

"What a shame."

Michael shook his covered head with a leathery smirk. Disappointment shone out from his lanter-like eyes while he graded the miserable act.

"I would presume you all came here to die then, or am I wrong?" Michael's voice was as volatile as his chaos energy. Piercing the mind of his last foe who had been able to crawl out of harms reach.

The charger, who had been unfortunate enough to survive, weakly shivered when he heard the belittling sentence.

Most of his steaming skin had been overcooked by the heat whilst the legs were completely burnt away from the blast. His body now containing nothing more than one remaining arm and two measly pink eyes who excluded a dreadful light. One only generated when a man regretted ever being born.

However, Michael's little speech was not aimed at the blood starved peasent who had recklessly attacked him. Evident by how he turned his head and looked over in another direction. One holding naught but broken planks and a murky dew.

"Is that what you belive?" A voice echoed out from the end Michael stared at. Clearing some of the foul smelling air with a dominating vibration.

Out of the walls of vaporized filth, two carmine dots could then be seen moving out. Belonging to a rather fine noble man wearing a hoodless black robe. It was decorated by a palm imprint which had been seated in the center of his upper body.

The man's black hair was floored backwards. Resembling a polished brush. As for his skin, it was both glossy and white. Generating a particular shine as the lonesome sun above bathed it in it's rays. Perfectly fitting the most delicate of facial features who were as sharp as polished daggers.

Even Michael felt slightly mesmerized by the impressive appearance. However, not because of attraction, but from a sense of familiarity.

"Halrel?" Michael blurted out from his black lips. Having a hard time seperating this man from the man he killed.

And to his impulsive cough of words, the opposing party reacted. Closing his eyes for a second whilst smiling in understanding.

"Oh my..." He muttered as the tender eyelids re-opend themselves. Letting the rapturous carmine light further highlight his presence.

"No. Halrel was my cousin. But as we did share quite the similarities, we were given similar names. You may call be Hadriel." Hadriel's voice flowed out like the scent of a flower. Instinctively making one lock their gaze onto his red lips.

However, for Michael, it was more like heavy pollen. Causing him to sneeze out a belitting greeting containing an uncaring tone.

"Nice meeting you then."

Hadriel equally grinned back. Answering him with a seducing gesture as he advanced forwards.

"Likewise."

Michael shook his head as he watched the man proceed in his direction. Frowning from beneath the shallow cover of his hood.

And surprisingly enough, Hadriel responded to his dissatisfaction with an awkward smile and an abrubt halt. Halting himself a few meters away from Michael's baleful figure.

"You should know why I am here, yes?" Hadriel unceasingly questioned. Gracing his sharp jaw with one of his lady-like hands.

"Revenge?" Michael replied while crossing his rugged arms. Feeling rather inpatient and frustrated at the loss of his battle high.

But Hadriel only shook his head for a moment. Sighing in great shame as he continued.

"My aunt, Halrel's mother, was quite fond of him despite his lack of talent... And even though our banishment was inevitable, she made sure to send him to this part and not one of the more....volatile ones."

Michael raised seeinngly raised his eyelids from beneath the cowl of fur. Evident by how it suddenly twitched slightly back.

"This part?" Michael interestingly responded. Trying to understand a gist of the vampire's words.

However, to his slight hint of fascination, Hadriel gently chuckled while brushing his fingers across his cheeks. Giving them both a rosy color.

"My, my. It seems like my tounge slipped. You are a native of this world then?"

"No, I wouldn't say that." Michael begrudgingly snaped back. Feeling his new patience soon reach it's limit.

Hadriel only nodded back at him in respond. Confirming his own thoughts.

"I always knew that a lot of gruesome experiments took place here.." The air grew still whilst the carmine eyes shone brighter. Sinking the next words into Michael's head like frostbite.

"But to think one of the [locked courts] managed to sproute an existences such as yourself... Or do you call it [Farleng] now? Either way, It's simply hard to digest." Hadriel brightening eyes burst with a sinful light after he finished. Wanting to see if he had succeeded in drawing the interest of this cloaked creature.

And indeed, Michael felt his guard slightly lower itself as he heard the unfamiliar scentence. Making him want to seek out more.

"Courts?"

However, Hadriel shut down his changing attitude with a hostile aura and a mischievous smirk stretching all over his face. Enjoying the tormented look.

"Finally managed to pique your interest, did I?"

The atmosphere started tensing up as he finished talking. Almost as if the space got sealed of by a large dome of glass.

Michael's dimming eyes turned brighter when he sensed it. Extending his arms to the side and making his acromatic nails extend. Turning them into coated blades.

The act of hostility seemed to brighten Hadriel's mood. Making him equally want to release some tension with not only his body, but also through words.

"I would never have imagined that a sealed world like this would contain such fresh complexions. Being sendt here truly wasn't as bad as I thought...or am I wrong, dear cousin?"

Hadriel's handsome smile resurfaced as he looked up into the blank sky. Reminicing about a past memory which perfectly aligned with this very moment. Making him loudly hum out some words for Michael to hear.

"You know, dog, I was once a human." His tone was warm like a mother's embrace. Caringly coiling around the arean of mist.

"But then, on a certain day, endless rain started to fall. And alongside it came aberrations who took everything I held of value. Picking my mother, my father, and my siblings away like cattle." His eyes closed again. Letting a horrid quiver traverse through his body undisturbed while he continued.

"Had it not been for my grandparents and their research, our family, an many others, would have long since ceased." Hadriels words became more lonesome and regretful as he spoke.

"But what did we gain for our sacrifice? Was it Scorn? Curses? Isolation...?"

"They watch us all from above, you know. The THINGS beyond the skies, beyond the spacial gems. Lurking.. Waiting.." Hadriel eventually opened his eyes back up. Wincing over at Michael with a more refreshed gaze.

However, what he did not expect was to receive nothing but a vexed snap back. One which had heard enough.

"Are you done?"

Hadriel ignored Michael's nagging whilst he stripped him down with the carmine eyes. Greedily satiating his gaze before going back to rubbing his chin.

"Fascinating. I sense you also possess the blessing, one very pure, one like Halrel's.. However, as it is dormant, you only seem to have the formidable affinity of blood and not the innate strength of a higher emperor..."

"Why are you telling me this?" Michael's nails stopped extending out an grew crooked as he angrily interrupted Hadriel.

But while the acromatic splinters turned into unconditioned razors through a series of disgusting cracks, Hadriel shook his head. Slightly disappointed by the ruly attitude.

"What an ungrateful child you had to deal with, dear Halrel..." A short silence occupied the scene before resuming.

"You see, it is common courtesy amongst are kind to share this knowledge with any fledglings. No matter who they are. Or do I not sense a dormant strain linger in your body?"

The mellow winds glided past Hadriel's folded strands of hair as he tiringly extended out one of his hands. Not removing his eyes from Michael's body.

Michael was about to charge at the man when he registered signs of movement. However, right before his tensed muscles could snap, he restrained himself. Finding some value in what Hadriel spoke of next.

"Listen, fledgling. The vampire ranks are quite easy to advance through as long as you have enough high grade blood available. Allowing for a quick mastery should your supply and discipline be good enough."

Space started to heat up around the center of Hadriel's palm. Slowly turning into a distorted brick before then having the skin on his fingertips rupture. Siphoning out enough liquid to form a ball of blood.

"First, you learn to master your own blood, forging blades and armaments.."

And as if answering the gentle words, the ball of blood started take the form of a cross shaped blade before then molding itself appropriately. Sharpening the hilt and edges until they reflected a metallic sheen.

Michael only watched intriguingly at the scene. Feeling himself spellbound by the capabilities displayed.

Hadriel noticed the almost material crave excluded by Michael and kept going on. Smiling whilst he lifted the bloody metal in a streaking red arch.

"Next, you learn to control the blood of others. Giving you the power to absorb and manipulate mortals like puppets..."

Hadriel's eyes regained their previous radiance as the sword was raised above his head. Sending out a transient signal which bore through the dead bodies nearby.

And out from the broken remains of what was once a flourishing town, multiple anacondas made of red water crawled out. Impatiently ascending through the air like a split pack of birds after escaping the rubble, until finally reaching the weapon. Fusing with it.

Even the dead vampires and the misfourtnate charger resting not too far away from Michael's figure were not spared. Quickly having their life force drained, and then absorbed by the organic cross at an almost instantaneous rate. Further increasing the sword's aura and strengthening it's features.

"Impressive, am I right?"

Hadriel then lowered his blade as he complimented his work. Letting the magnificent edges rest only centimeters away from his baby-like face. Scanning it for a moment before turning his lusting eyes back to Michael.

"And finally, you learn to interact with the strain in your body. Allowing you to then gift it to others...."

The sword was then further lowered. Placed with it's tip aimed to his side.

However, as the armament lost it's spotlight, Hadriel's mood only seemed to get more fervent and excited.

"But did you think it ended there?" Hadriel chanted with a glorious smirk which kept on getting growing. Focusing his mind onto a faint object residing deep within.

And as a second passed by, something shook his body. Something which had responded to his call.

Out from the visible patches of pale skin which laid uncovered by the fallen black cloak, multiple red lines started forming. Squirming and multiplying like parasitic worms before finally dyeing Hadriel in a nefarious red light.

"By reaching the very source, you are granted access to the first blood which was taken. The very essence of my families work.."

Even his voice started growing more unstable and crooked like the nails on Michael's hands until finally reaching the peak. Granting but a brief moment to utter one last line before the vocal cord visually split apart while his figure rapidly grew!

"THE PUREFORM!!!"

The upper and lower body parts started growing in length through a series of snaps and tears. Turning the black cape previously covering his heating body into a torn rag hanging over the hips, and letting the transformation ensue as all the red skin was displayed.

As the skin got enveloped by the bloody coat, two spikes of red shot out from Hadriel's back. Taking the shape of what resembled the skinless wings of a bat before then stopping. Gently positioning themselves behind him like sheathed pikes.

After the wings came the arms. Rapidly turning into two overgrown sticks while the once delicate fingers formed into scissor-like twigs. Growing in tact with the main body until creating what looked like a three meter tall tree sprouting four malformed branches. One seemingly holding onto a long red fruit.

And so, the red glow died down like cooled metal. Showing the brutish figure once again.

Hadriel's once elegant skin now resembled an overstretched sheet of bleached textile. Engraved with a cold pressure and an almost translucent quality which displayed the solid lines of tissue beneath like a glass board. Having been forcefully pulled over his body like a garb.

However, the new appearance which resembled a whitered tree was not the most disturbing thing.

As you went up from the cloaked feet and up, you would eventually find the head which laid attatched on the top. Resting there like a rotten flower.

The once handsome face was now gone. Having all it's delicate traits replaced by a featureless mask holding close ties to the mutilated skull of an ape.

The eye sockets were hollow like the night whilst the nose and ears had fused with the head. Now appearing like small breathing holes. And finally, the lips. Having gotten peeled back like a slip only to show a horrendous line of petruding canines.

"Now...." Hadriel then breathed out. Sending off an icy vapor from his malformed mouth as he vomited out a distorted scentence for Michael to hear.

With the blood sword still in hand, Hadriel lifted his new wings above before pushing them down. Flying up into the air like a fallen angel, and hovering above Michael's figure like a banshee.

"Do you have any last words to spare before I cut you down, fledgling?"

An icy wind started brewing around their arena as Hadriel's mangled screech resonated out like a shaken gong. Freezing the air still and turning the surrounding walls of mist into a blizzard.

However, even while the temprature lowered itself down, and the scent of burnt iron enveloped the the land, one thing remained unchanged.

That being Michael's figure remaining where it stood.

'What is that child doing?'

Even the ghastly spectre resting above sensed something wrong about the ordeal. However, his wish for a response did not stay unanswered for long.

"If I have some last words...?" Michael mockingly laughed out where he stood. Lifting up his head to meet with the corrupt being waiting for his so called rites.

Hadriel felt slightly puzzled by his remark. Watching the beast fleck it's teeth with a questionable look. Sadly, what he did not see was that his answer lied somewhere else. Somewhere within this creatures body.

Inside Michael's bloodstream, a bundle of dark DNA strands started to madly shake. Splitting into several individual strings like rouge cells before fusing with his flesh. Empowering it!

---

[Innate Ability: Lycanthropy]

---

And as the integration began, Michael screamed out while feeling the ticking within his brain restart. Beating faster than ever before.

"BRING IT ON!!!"
