Its been a while since I first entered the depths of the jungle, but I haven't really been able to find much.
My ability, bestial sense, seems to have been degraded due to the crippled energy and the lack of a core, but its still viable in a sense.
While I traveled, I found out that the jacket created by my hel'Serker's innate clothing was too difficult to walk around in, as it would usually get stuck. So I just changed to the beastlord for the time being.
I definitely look like some weird werewolf, but who cares. Not like I'm going to meet other people here? Anyways, i tried to send out my senses once again, and to my luck something finally came back.
"What is that?"
Before me stands a small pack of white rabbits. They look kind of funny, with two long fluffy ears and a pair of red eyes. Not to different from the usual pet bunny back on earth.
'Lets see...'
I try to shout out a spit bullet at an isolated one, however, as the small translucent jet of water hits it, I immediately get more than what I asked for.
The bullet, as if having a chemical reaction to the rabbit, Makes the animal violently explode like a water balloon. Shooting out flesh and fur all over the place. Maybe you would get the same effect by attatching a hand grenade to a pillow?
"Ouf! Get f**ed!"
But as I praise my accuracy, the rest of the group of rodents all turn towards me with hateful gazes. What the hell? Why are they eyeing me down? Do these rats want to die too?
No, they did not want to die. Rather, they planned on getting revenge. In a single instant, the flock charge forwards with lightning speed. Slamming their tiny hind legs into the grass, and rocket towards me.
Their speed even greatly exceed my spit jet, however, as they all come close enough, I immediately send them over to their brother.

With a but a single shout, they all crash down like paper planes flying against an air current, peacefully plummeting to the ground.
I look at fur balls with some pity, each now had a vast amount of blood kept flowing out from their ears. These guys must have had really good hearing. Or thats my guess.
"Well, let's not let it go to waste.."
I pick each one up and bite of their head. Eating the nuclei or core if there are any, while also making sure to get their genetic code.
[Hammer bunny added to genetic storage]
"Hammer bunny? What a weird name. System, pass me some information about them."
[Hammer bunny: Small carnivores rodents resembling white rabbits in shape. They often live in packs of 50 individuals and specialise in hunting large animals. They take down their prey by madly kicking it to death with their powerful hind legs, which have been recorded to possess the strength to even shatter boulders.]
"Oh, is that....WHAT?!"
I once more look down at the twitching rats spread around on the grass before me. And as I register every individual of the thinned out horde, a small shiver runs fown my spine.
"Well, at least I got them before they got me.."
Not bothering about what could have been, I quickly eat the rest and check on my core status.

'Sweet!'
"System, combine the bunny with my beastlord!"
.
[Combining...]
.
Not even a second later, I feel a strange tingling sensation travel through my legs. No, the muscle tissue and skeletal structure is visibly growing in length and density. And the size change is not the only one, it feels like whenever I try to move them, the signal sendt from my brain travels down much more smoothly.
The tingling quickly disappears, and I am left only to stare. These two mounds of flesh, coupled with the longer shins and thighs.. They don't differ much from small black logs.
Well, my height has also reached the two meter mark, but that doesn't really mean much.
'Lets test these babies out!'
There isn't really a lack of targets here in this dense jungle, so I just walk over to one of the nearby trees. These are kinda short compared to the ones I found in the first forest, probably no taller than ten or so meters.
Anyways, I steady my body and swiftly throw a roundhouse kick bound to connect with the brown bark, and HOLY SH***.
Altough these massive sticks don't live up to their brethren's height, they are by noe means small. Five adults standing in a small tight circle would probably be the right estimate. However, those guys just went straight to hell.
My shin literary turned the tree into firewood. No, more like splinters. It brutally cracked appart when faced with the overwhelming power behind my newly improved legs.
The tree just falls of to the side with a thump, but that thing can screw off, for the only place having my full attention is the beauty which severed it.
"I can feel like the vertebrae spine my hel'serker remain with it. I really have to fuse these later on.."
"System, do my legs go over when I transform into another form? And if not, can I combine it with the others?"
.
[Combinations are set for the bloodline they are fused with. Host can use [Aspect of the Tainted] to fuse all combinations and bloodlines into one being.]
.
[Negative, combination only works once. Host would have to get more of specified genetic code to combine with rest.]
.
"Aiya...Well, can I stack one certain code in the storage several times if I eat more of it?"
.
[Affirmative, but it will be set to an unspecified amount of times depending on how much the host ingests.]
.
"So I can probably only do the vampire fusion once...Damn."
I rearrange my sight back towards the dense road of vines and trees. Feeling an unfamiliar excitement begin to build up from deep within.
"If I remember correctly, the [Kabir Tyrant] had the ability to walk on clouds. But I really want something that can fly, so lets get some birds first."
And with that I dig my feet into the earthy soil and jump forwards. Flying through the air like a stone throen into the sky.

However, far away from Michael's position, a small group of humans could be seen traversing through the same jungle.
"Dammit! Why did the king send us to investigate that falling star!? These lab robes are too tight on my stomach!"
A rough manly voice echoed into all the branches nearby. Only stopping when arriving at the location of his companions.
"Shut up and start walking, Bander! Why do you always complain whenever we do something?!"
Bander, as he was called was part of this regions research comity. Directly supervised by the appointed human ruler of their province known as 'Torvel'. He had a stuffy brown beard and a bald head. Probably the only other thing you would notice other than the his large build and grey eyes.
His college, Winter was however quite the beauty. She had a head full of long white hair and some crystal blue eyes. Better known as snow white by her friends. She was the current leader of this research group in charge of investigating any abnormal phenomena like the meteorite seen not too long ago.
As a researcher, she was quite capable. But when it came to exploring the eternal forest they were always given a handsome set of general layer knights as escorts for her group of six. Cutting down anything which stood in their way.
Her attire mainly consited of the usual white robe with some good travelling shoes and a large green backpack. The default one given to all of them.
As they continued to traverse the jungle, Winter always kept her eyes on the road. Leaving her excited and bewildered thougts to herself.
'I hope we actually find something this time, and don't have to go back empty handed!'
And so she continued on her way. Walking in between the stationed knights with a deep rooted excitement.
