Sally sat in lesson getting on with her learning as usual. Her friends sat next to her laughing and joking like any other teenager who was happy. It was almost ten past three when the uneasiness grew stronger in Sally's stomach , in only a few seconds she's wouldn't have an excuse , but at this point what choice did she have. They would only hurt her again.
Sally snapped out of her deep thoughts once she heard the bell ring. Her eyes pupils shrunk to the size of a spec of dust and an overwhelming feeling of fear took over her entire body. She picked up her grey backpack with slow movements being careful of the cuts and bruises on her arms. She dragged her feet out the school gates .
She walked home the long way round listening to soft music through her earphones humming quietly to the tune. Lost in her thoughts once again she looked at the time and realised she was late coming home. She ran as fast as she could home , barging past anyone in her way , she ran as fast as her cut and bruised legs could go without feeling immense pain.
