The impact of the three crescent blades resounded in the large cavern, sending the Elder sliding back over a dozen meters from the sheer force of it. As he recovered you could see a thick crack running along the center of one of his fighting sticks, obviously created by the impact just now. He looked down at his own weapons and began to grow even more frustrated.
"This has gone on long enough." He quietly growled before activating a new skill.
"Oh ho," Elder Lei laughed, "So you've finally decided to activate your Immortal Body Change technique. This will finally get interesting."
Chuckling to himself afterwards he called out, "Disciple Yun, do not worry about injuring this crap elder, with that technique active it will be incredible if you can harm a hair on his body. Teach him a lesson for me about respect."
Yun looked at Elder Lei with a surprised expression before she quickly bowed, "Yes Master!"
At this moment a cruel glint crossed Yun's eyes. It was finally time to pay him back for their previous meeting and his foul intentions.
With a small moment of focus Yun's aura soared. The head radiating off her body rose to an almost volcanic level and the electric arcs in the air became something akin to a lightning storm around the cavern. Along with this increased heat came an increased energy consumption, but after her breakthrough to the Body Forging realm she had more than enough from her massive Neidan space's gravity compression.
Simultaneously she activated multiple skills. Each of the three spears blades, namely five blades, lit up with blue fire as she applied Brazen Moon Flame to all of them. Additionally she began to foster a Solar Descending Orb above each of her shoulders that could be used at any time. Walking steadily towards the Elder on the other side of the cavern.
The Elder charged, fighting sticks held at the ready, but as he closed the distance between them and was nearly close enough to strike her Yun disappeared from his vision before he was smacked in the lower back and sent skidding away across the cavern floor for a few meters.
Turning, the Elder gave Yun an astonished look for a mere moment before he grew angry about the smirk on her face yet again. He maintained enough mindfulness that he continued to keep his cultivation suppressed to the appropriate level, lest Elder Lei punish him even more heavily himself, but he began to slowly increase the total amount of energy he outputted to his skills to the very limits of possibility for the third stage of Body Tempering.
Again he charged, relying on his skill to protect him from harm while he assaulted her. As he got close he became hyper-vigilant, but also got an evil glint in his eyes yet again. Seeing that she hadn't moved and he was close enough to attack he made a snap decision to punish her.
Clatter!
The stick dropped from the Elder's right hand as his hand formed a claw and reached lightning fast for Yun's neck.
Just an inch from making contact with her neck the Elder's face changed drastically. Tears began to well up in his eyes unbidden as he looked down to see that not one, but three spears had impacted full force into his groin, using enough strength together that it distorted his protective skill and the three weapons managed to lift him off the ground with the force of the impact directly on his family jewels. In his mind he thought he heard a cracking sound as his eyes dulled.
Thud!
The Elder fell over sideways, both hands holding his groin as he rolled back and forth in excruciating pain. After less than an incense stick of time he managed to regain his composure and stand with his weapons. But he put those two sticks away and instead got a pair of short swords off the rack.
"Elder Lei, this old man wishes to increase the maximum level of cultivation to compete with this extraordinary disciple." The Elder growled out towards Elder Lei.
"Hmm yes, let's increase your maximum a bit. How about Sixth Rank Body Tempering? That sounds a little better for a piece of crap like you."
Instantly the Elder's power soared, and with it he had access to some skills he knew that were too energy-consuming to be used by a typical Body Tempering fighter. Charging forth again, his Immortal Body Change even engulfed his two swords, extending off their tips by half a meter. About five meters from Yun he suddenly slashed both swords and created an X shaped sword qi attack that flew rapidly towards Yun. With what seemed a simple shift of her weight she appeared to the side of the attack, still smiling.
Continuing to close the distance, he swept out with one sword horizontally, but this time it was his Immortal Body Change skill that acted. The extension off the tip of the sword swept out and became over three meters long, then whipped around and followed the trajectory of the strike, but before it reached Yun he'd swung the other sword in the same manner, creating a pincer attack that would trap her in front of him!
Yun's smile faded slightly as she became more serious. She instantly charged forwards towards the Elder before leaping up in the air and slashing down at his head with one of the two Solar Descending Orbs at the tip of her spear.
Bang!
A huge explosion of fire and light sent the Elder flying back dozens of meters until he collided with the weapon rack he had acquired the two swords from, instantly destroying it and scattering weapons across the floor. In the center of the explosion stood Yun with her spear on her shoulder.
"This is truly disappointing, even two small realms above me this Elder cannot fight me. Elder Lei, this Yun is bored of this fight."
"Yes, Disciple Yun is indeed as strong as this old man thought. Crap Elder, get lost. We have no further use for someone like you stinking up the space and breathing our air."
Elder Lei was vicious with his words, immediately infuriating the Elder that Yun had sent flying yet again, but he merely grit his teeth and bowed to Elder Lei before leaving the chamber and entering his personal chambers. "That brat will get hers soon enough." He snarled under his breath, too low for anyone else to hear.
Elder Lei called Yun over and congratulated her on her incredible battle strength, but also reminded her that the Volvaka that would be coming soon would be no less powerful at the same level as her. The cultivation techniques of those reptiles were truly too strange to comprehend for the races of the Lynhär.
"Yun, soon enough you will have to spend some time with the Lieutenants that will follow your orders in this Centennial battle. Please go back and rest, within a few days we will call them all together, the internal tournament to determine your direct Lieutenants has concluded already."
