Step!
I stepped into the wooden gate, and the tension vaporized from my body.
I wanted to collapse the on the ground, but focused on stabilizing my heartbeat, which was beating wildly as I travelled the distance.
A few seconds later, I got calm enough. That, I looked around.
I am in an open compound, which is cracked and withered with a temple in the center, which has many of part of it chipped.
There are people around me. more than I had thought.
They are hundreds of them with many looking at me. The eyes of some people seemed sharper than usual, like they want to see every part of me.
I become cautious, but soon relaxed a little, when I saw they were looking at the next person coming through the gate the same way.
'They are clearly looking for someone,' I thought, and it is a single group.
There are a few hundred people here and nine among them are looking at people sharply.
