I stepped on the disk, and a second later, I disappeared. Appearing under the night sky, a few seconds later.
It had been five and a half months since I applied for the mission.
I was selected in two and half months before I began to study the memory of Rehi Knell or Ranis Card; the name he used when he infiltrated the organization.
It took me three months.
He had used the method to record his memories. There are decades of memories, over thirty years to be exact.
I wouldn't have been able to manage it without my clone.
Now, I know everything about Ranis Card. I had even copied the way he speaks, walks, and fights.
I even know his ticks and peeves.
Through these memories, I know, who his friends and colleagues and other member of the organizations are. His hobbies, which are fighting and drinking and profession, he didn't have any.
He tried his hands at forging, but gave up.
