"I should have expected it; the Grimm could never follow the promise," I said. The anger roared in its eyes and it grinned.
A moment later, I found the body in its hand, which it is raising, till we are eye to eye.
"You are an ant; I do not need to keep promises to ants." It said, and this time, it was my turn to grin. It is bloody, literally bloody, with blood covering my lips and teeth.
"It is sad. If you had, I might have let you have your last words, but now, I will not," I said, and its expression froze.
"Hahahaha,"
A moment later, a smile cracked on its face and it began to laugh, so hard that tears began to flow through its eyes before it could stop itself.
"You natives sometimes could really crack a joke. Here your life is literally in my hand, that if I wish, I could just squeeze the life out of you and you are cracking a joke," it said, and I smiled.
