I was barely able to defend myself before being sent back, vomiting heavily. I thought the internal energy would give me some respite, but it did not seem to be the case.
Before the battle began, I had never thought I would end up in such a wretched state. Though I had never doubted there might be more powerful masters than me, I never had throught any of them would be able to bring me down in such way.
I have to do something; I would not survive if things went on like this. It seemed like I had to use my defensive method; it would be my first time using it.
I had changed my defensive method; I had completely scrapped the previous one and invented a new one based on different formulas; this defensive method used my strength to a much better degree and gave me far greater defensive power than my previous defensive method.
