Crack Crack Crack…
This cracking sound is coming not from the core but from Nero; he is finally breaking out of his egg at the worse possible timing. The sentient Curse is very powerful right now, capable of crushing anything in a single attack; it will not leave Nero alone.
Just as I had thought that a river of tendrils released from the core, and they came at Nero with great fury.
The Curse also seemed to understand that Nero could pose a serious threat to it and want to crush him before he could become a trouble.
I wish I could help him in some way, but I could not. The only thing I could do was warn him, and I am doing just that, screaming my mind off at him through our link, asking him is get out of my body as soon as possible, but it looks like he is not listening to me, I have sensed no reaction from him.
