Chapter 3 - Curiosity killed the cat

The moment your see the entire galaxy flash before your eyes was normally a good indication your life was at its end. This very second I could only wish such was my case. My headache however said I was very much alive and breathing. Yet I had no will to move I felt unbelievably comfortable where I was. Even the pain behind my eyes could not stop the knowledge that I was willing to keep my eyes closed and not stop the blackness. Yet something tingled in my mind. Since when was my bed so warm and hard?

It hit... I WAS taking a relaxing bath when a damn outsider head butted me! Oh boy Nope, BIG STINKING HELLA nope. My eyes flashed open and my body came back to life but just as quickly all hope was lost. My movement brought my bed to life and for a second time that day I was staring at Crystal blue eyes.

" Don't Do whatever your thinking about.. My head may be hard yet a second assault would leave me mangled. Unless you like brain stew it's a bad idea." Did I say I lacked a filter? I seriously do and the worse stuff pops into my head when Im nervous. Never give a dragon recipe ideas, We obsessive with measurements.

A soft wispy snark reaches my ears as a pair of enchanting eyes soften.

" I rather you keep what brains you have, Tho scattered they may be." Oh god, That voice.. All egotistical male. Two things that annoy me to no end. As his laugh reached my ears the ground below me shook. Shifting below me was the bellow of the beast, Literally.

As I tried to balance as the great scaly white beast moved a claw wrapped around me. Great juuuust great. He lifted and rolled to stand at his great height , setting me upon the floor in the process. I suddenly felt small for the first time in my life. His great long arch neck would stand as tall as the Great White Oaks in our forest. I have never seen a Dragon so large! His wings went from the pearl white to clear. They draped upon the ground and damn me I could help but touch the membrane of them. All weariness and hesitation wavered to my curiosity . As the saying goes Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought him back.

A snot bumps my shoulder from above that has me quickly jumping back and forgetting about my thought process.

" No need to be so scared, I would never dream to harm my mate." He spoke with a purr

" I'm not scared, Wait what? Mate?!"
