The two men that were going to shoot her looked at her then at each other. As they passed Chang Wook, he, with the little strength he had left, yelled: "Please…she's just a kid!" Chang Wook let out a tear and tried to untie himself from his bindings "Don't do it, please!" He sobbed.
The two men were suddenly in front of Eun Ha and the buff guy pulled on the skinny guy's sleeve and shook his head with a saddened expression.
The other two men that made their way to Chang Wook untied him and dropped him on the floor. Chang Wook couldn't stand because of the pain in his leg. He looked straight at the two men in front of him. One of them pointed a gun right at Chang Wook's head.
"Turn around," he told Chang Wook, but Chang Wook shook his head. He forced himself up, using the table to remain standing.
The skinny guy sighed "I never thought I'd pick morality over money."
The buff guy nodded and untied Eun Ha. The two men with Chang Wook were about ready to kill him, so they hurried Eun Ha towards the exit at the back.
"You run and don't turn back. We'll take care of this" the skinny guy told Eun Ha.
Eun Ha nodded and was on her way outside when she heard Chang Wook say "If you're going to kill me, do it, looking straight at me." The man that held the gun to Chang Wook's face was a bit surprised by his statement.
The other man rolled his eyes "You don't let them talk. If you do, they'll get in your head, make you sympathize with them" he said as he took his own gun and quickly shot Chang Wook in the stomach. Chang Wook placed his hand on his stomach and quickly fell to his knees.
Eun Ha looked at the scene that unraveled in front of her in shock and screamed. The men in front of Chang Wook turned to look in her direction.
"She's getting away!" one of them yelled.
The skinny guy quickly pointed his gun towards them and shot a hole into the hand of the man that shot Chang Wook.
The buff guy ran towards the one that hesitated and ran him into the ground, knocking him out, instantly.
Eun Ha ran towards Chang Wook "Ahjussi!" she yelled as she placed her hands on his cheeks. Chang Wook laid on the floor, keeping his hand over his stomach.
"Ahjussi, stay awake!" Eun Ha yelled.
"Put pressure on it!" the buff guy told her as he took off his jacket and placed it on Chang Wook's stomach, over the gunshot wound.
The buff guy looked over to the skinny guy, who was pointing his gun at the man he had just shot.
"You traitorous bastards!" the one who shot Chang Wook yelled.
"They're innocent people. We might not be the most decent people, but we wouldn't kill a kid or an innocent person" the skinny guy said. He looked over at the buff guy, but that split second he looked away, the man he shot jumped up at him and took away his gun and shot the skinny guy. He pointed the gun to Eun Ha and pulled the trigger. The buff guy pushed her out of the way, and the bullet that was heading straight for her chest ended up in her shoulder.
She yelled in pain but the buff guy looked at the wound "It went clean through. You'll be alright" he told Eun Ha as she laid on the ground with tears in her eyes.
"Looks like I have to do everything myself," the guy holding the gun said. The buff guy charged to the one holding the gun but he was also shot, falling down to the ground. He walked slowly towards Eun Ha, and once he was right in front of her, he kicked her in the stomach. She was already in pain with the gunshot wound, now she was holding her stomach trying not to scream in pain. The man pointed the gun at her head but suddenly he was grabbed from behind by none other than Chang Wook.
"Don't touch my kid" Chang Wook said as he took the man's gun and shot him on the knee. The man yelled in pain, falling to the ground, and passed out. Which Eun Ha thought of as anticlimactic.
Chang Wook dropped the gun and got on his knees, picking up Eun Ha between his arms. He hugged and she wrapped her arms around him. Eun Ha started crying uncontrollably "It's okay. We're okay now" Chang Wook said. Suddenly everything around turned black and she woke up in the hospital with Ha Eun holding her hand.

Ha Eun's eyes watered. They hadn't been taking care of Eun Ha very long and he had already called her his kid. She wanted to cry for having such a brave husband.
"Were there any men at the scene?" Ha Eun asked the officer.
"No one, but by the various splatters of blood, we deducted there were more people that got hurt, apart from your daughter and husband," the officer said, "If these men Eun Ha spoke of are injured, they should be in a hospital somewhere."
"Do you need anything else?" Ha Eun asked the officer.
"Can you describe any of the men in that room?" the officer asked Eun Ha.
She could only remember the men that helped her. She gave as much of detailed description as she could and when she was done, she told the officer "If you find them, don't be too rough with them. If it wasn't for them, I don't think I would be here."
The officer looked at Eun Ha with a saddened expression but gave her a smile and nodded.
"I'll take my leave now," he said and bowed to Ha Eun and Eun Ha "We'll contact you if we have any follow-up questions."
Before he left the room Ha Eun stopped him and asked, "Do you know who called the police?"
"The person refused to give out their identity, so we deducted it must have been one of the men that helped little Eun Ha" he answered, then bowed once again and left the room.
Ha Eun looked at Eun Ha "I have to make a call. I'll be right back" she told Eun Ha and then left the room and walked to the front desk to ask to borrow the phone.
She dialed Mr. Oh's phone "Ha Eun, what's wrong?" he asked with a tired tone. She told him what happened to Chang Wook without getting into details "What can I do?" Mr. Oh asked, worried.
"Find the bastard that did this," Ha Eun said.
"Done," Mr. Oh said.
"Also, I need your help with something…"
