As Cheng works hard to regain recovery, not everything is easy. He gets tired really easily as he is still not used to the exercises.
I helped him massaging to improve blood circulation. As the physiotherapist arrived to help Cheng with the exercises, I stood there giving him a nod and smile as encouragement.
Cheng works hard in everything, even though he knows it will be a long road to recovery.
As we wheeled him into the rehab room, Cheng still is unstable to walk. The rehab assistant assisted Cheng as he tried to work on simple walking exercises with assistive devices. I can see Cheng is working hard.
After 3 months of intensive physiotherapy, Cheng started to feel sensation down on his leg, but he is still using assistive device to help him walk more steady.
The doctor said, his paralysis improved a lot but he still has to come back every day and do those exercises. I agreed and told Cheng.
As he works hard everyday, I stood by his side and help him out wherever I can.
Every time he did something well, I would hug him and encourage him to do better.
After few more weeks, Cheng is doing better than usual. As we left the hospital, I wheeled Cheng as we head to the car.
Cheng held my hand tightly and said, "I'm afraid." As I explain to him, I held his hand and said, "I'll be here. Here, hold my hand." I said gently.
As Cheng carefully get into the car, I held his hand and comforted him. He basically got into two car accidents, it's normal for him to be afraid.
As we head back to company, we were greeted by many people, they gave flowers to Cheng as he made a huge recovery.
