"Miss Vanessa, would you come on stage please, you'd be playing the piano for us", everyone one turned to get a sight of her but she was no where to be found. The MC called out her name thrice.
"I'm here " a sweet voice echoed in every one's ears. The spot light was on her as she walked to sit beside the piano. She was magnificent. Her hands slept on the keys with solidarity. It gave sweet melody, she played songs from the movie" Sound of Music". She was like a goddess who descended to charm the crowd and give them peace and solace.

She got up to take a sit by David.
"Where were you? " trying to get her to look into he's eyes.
" I wanted to be alone".
"Do you love me? "He's eyes pop out in curiosity.
She was silent.
"Well love is a huge thing and I've always loved you as a brother so why can't I love you as my man?"she took a glass of wine and dropped it when she remembered see was pregnant she asked for water.
" Ok, I love you "
" You what?" Vanessa almost chocked.

When he said it the second time her eyes look up to see Kim who was sitting in the next table. He seem to have heard their conversation. She could see jealousy in his eyes. She then looked at David.
" We need to talk? Let's meet tomorrow ".

The party was over.
"I do not like him ". David tells her as Kim was leaving.

" How did you both meet? How do you know him? ". He looked into her eyes for answers.
" I don't know much, I only know he's the director of Tan Cooperation and we signed a deal together. We met in my office ". She lied.
" Oh ok. I'll be on my way my love, take care of yourself and dream about me". His wide palm rubs her smooth face. He walked towards his dad and they left

She can now rest. She was going up to her room as she saw her parents were discussing and she guess it was about her and David so she didn't want to interfere.
"Vanessa " she turned around when she heard her dad call.
" Yes dad".
"What are your plans with David? Hope you're not planning to tell him about your pregnancy? "
" I'll tell him dad, I'm going to tell him tomorrow "
