Chapter 39 - A princess without mercy.

Kingdom of Arzhum, 9:35 in the morning.

"Attention, Attention, citizens of arzhum, today will be the day in which all will be present of the public execution of the king, queen and nobles involved in the disobedience of the treaty of the elves!" A person shouted in the middle of the square, the man in question had elegant clothes and a hat with a golden and red feather, in his hands this person had a paper where the words were written that this should shout to the four winds reporting important situations in the city, although the current situation...was unique, the execution of the royal family and nobles of the kingdom.

The nearby citizens in the plaza began to approach the person who continued shouting more decrees, the commotion of the citizens of the city quickly spread throughout the kingdom making huge crowds of citizens were gathered in the square.

Although none of them could clearly understand, as the royal family would be executed, no one could take power and the kingdom would slowly bleed to death.

In the center of the square the construction of a stage began to be carried out, but in less than 30 minutes it was fully assembled and prepared, the person most anxious in that scenario at the moment, was the executioner, who was sharpening his Ax with a rock and water, giving it an unusual glow.

Children who were in the square without fear approached the executioner and inspected his ax and this without fear or discomfort, he allowed them to see, and even made a few attacks in the air releasing a powerful current of wind.

The children at that moment felt more emotion than fear, since that ax would be used to execute those who did evil, that is what the executioner said to the children.

"The great goddess of light, would never let me execute someone who is innocent, she loves each and every one of us, but when one of us commits an act as horrible as the one our king committed, she orders us to execute that person even though she is very hurt at that moment." The executioner explained to the children pointing his finger at the sky, mentioning the pain and anguish that the goddess of light itself felt when having to execute her own children, followers and devotees.

The executor stared at the sky, his mind was full of a thousand ideas, a thousand dreams, a thousand facts, but only one thought at that moment was at that moment, to execute those who committed a crime as horrible as the one the real family committed. With the help of the nobles, a crime that would possibly take centuries to settle or make a second war erupt with the elven race.

The execution of the royal family and nobles would not help to appease the wrath of the elves, nor would it serve to avoid the consequences that would come later, on the part of the great elven reign.

"Come on, you heartless garbage!" A soldier in a decorated armor shouted with all his might while carrying in his hands a chain where the royal family and 8 nobles were tied to the neck, feet and hands, making them go up to the stage where the executor was impatient while he was sitting, and he took his ax with both hands, pressing the hilt on his forehead.

The soldier had the 11 people kneel on the stage while the executor continued sitting, thinking about something.

"Where is the second real princess !?" A person among the crowd shouted, exclaiming that the second daughter of the king was absent at that moment, but all were silent moments later, the second daughter of the king was present with a fierce armor, while carrying a sword almost 2 meters long on her shoulder.

The citizens began to talk to each other in confusion as the entire royal family was to be executed or, so they thought.

"Silence." The princess said in a calm voice immediately silencing all citizens in the square.

"Today, in the first ray of sunshine, I discovered what my father, mother and brother, along with other nobles of our kingdom, did, he and his greed, claimed the lives of five hundred twelve savage elves, the day of today I will be the personal executor of these people here present. " The princess said as her sword began to emanate a strange red aura which made all those who were close to her away.

"Some last words?" The princess asked a noble lady who was kneeling in front of her with her head down.

"I will die anyway, my ancestors fought with the elves and took many to the grave, I will die today and I did the same, I will be the pride of my ancestors, can you say the same?" The noble lady said with a smile on her face.

"I have ordered to dig up your ancestors and to burn them until there is nothing left of them, I also gave the orders to burn all the books with information about your family, they never existed, nor did you." The princess said as the noble lady changed her smile to a face of horror, knowing that her ancestors and everything related to them would be destroyed to be forgotten.

The nobles thought that by burning the body of an ancestor, it would burn their soul and burn the books with information about them and their deeds would forget their memories, no doubt a horrible way to be forgotten, in the winds of time and in the heat of fire.

"I felt sorry for her, but I will not allow any of you to speak...you do not deserve to be heard, you do not deserve to talk or breathe." The princess said squeezing the handle of his sword until it was made to descend by cutting the stage in half and killing the eleven people who were kneeling on it.

The strange aura of red coloration of the sword threw an energy blade that cut 20 meters in front of the princess executing all the people on the stage, except for the guards and the executor who got off early.

The princess remained motionless looking at the remains of her family and other rubbish until she turned around and left, returning to the castle.

"I want you to bring me information, I want to know who destroyed my father's illegal slave market, I want to know who had the power to oppose bandits hired by a king." The princess said while a shadow accompanied her very closely.

"Without a doubt, the person who did it is not afraid to fight and die, the evidence we found indicates that the attacker was brutal and precise, in the bodies of the bandits there were holes, so it is difficult to know which weapon was used to execute them when we get more information I will inform you, my queen. " The strange shadow let out a voice explaining what he had found in the camp.

"My Queen, what do we do if we find the supposed executioner of the bandits?" The shadow asked.

"...it would not be fair to cause him problems, if he is one of those strange adventurers, better avoid causing him problems, I do not want to end up with a hole in my head like those bandits." The princess responded by going to the castle, while the shadow left to seek information.
