Chapter 27 - Fear is a human emotion.

Sebastian finished his fight against the dragon, but without killing him and as he was about to disconnect, but his curiosity was present, and he began to ask himself in his head "Where exactly did the dragon descend when he left?"

It was strange that this place was called "The sunken city" but this was just a castle under water which made Sebastian wonder more and more filled with intrigue.

"I do not lose anything." Sebastian said taking the ropes that were still whole and joined them and tied them to a rock to descend and inspect where the dragon came from.

Sebastian descended the rope for a while until he felt water in his legs which reached his knees until he managed to put his feet on a firm surface where he lit a torch, it did not matter where he looked because everything he was able to observe was darkness and the faint reflection of light in the torch and his only option was to start walking with great care to avoid falling into a pit on the ground.

"The water is very cold and the atmosphere of the cave is warm, this is really weird." Sebastian said to himself while he was trying to find of logic of what was happening in that place because the water was cold, but the atmosphere was warm which only indicated that the water was fresh or rather was always being replaced or renewed.

The water slowly came to the waist of Sebastian, who began to put more and more effort into walking until in front of him appeared a huge wooden gate which was completely open and the doors were rotten due to the water and at the same time these had been exposed to the elements and a message appeared before Sebastian.

[Congratulations, you have been the first player to find the "True Sunken City" +650 of fame around the world.]

The water finally reached his neck while Sebastian tried to stay afloat with the torch and again reached firm ground which started a horrendous nightmare.

"God, this is really horrible." Sebastian said loudly starting to feel nauseous because in front of him there were huge piles of bodies which ran what appeared to be streets.

The corpses were in a horrifying state due to the water, causing them to swell and stay rotten for much longer and Sebastian continued through the streets lighting his way with the torch watching as the corpses did not stop appearing.

His footsteps sounded like a huge echo in the abandoned streets until he heard another different sound which had not been produced by his feet with his torch raised high in the air Sebastian tried to light up what he could to try to see if there was someone or something behind him, but at that moment a chill ran down his back beginning to feel a bad feeling of that place, so he began to run in the darkness feeling more and more scared.

Hundreds of steps could be heard in all directions in the streets while Sebastian ran at full speed because of the fear he felt until he found what seemed to be a church and got into it by closing the doors which were somewhat rotten by the water and blocked them with whatever was at hand in that place by listening to the footsteps and blows that came from outside the church.

Sebastian had never felt such fear in his life, so he did not stop there and checked the interior of that building and managed to find another door which led to what appeared to be a room where there was a strange statue of a dragon with eyes of red stones Sebastian ignored the dragon and entered the room blocking it too and staying locked until everything calmed down.

The blows continued to be heard trying to enter the church and Sebastian summoned the skeletons who knocked down the front door and began to fight against the mysterious creatures while Sebastian decided to stay hidden inside the room with the statue being protected by the guardian skeletons and two dragon-slayer skeletons let the warrior skeletons, magicians and archers take charge of whatever was in the dark.

The brutal and incessant battle lasted a long time while Sebastian continued invoking his skeletons every 10 minutes to repeat the cycle of combat and protection, Sebastian, on the other hand, calmed down and took his bow thinking about going out to fight.

"I do not understand how you stay alive despite being such a coward." A strange voice said behind Sebastian, which made him feel more afraid than before.

"It's normal to be afraid, it's a human emotion, no matter how strong you are, fear will always be present," Sebastian answered without turning around for fear of seeing what was behind him.

"...." The voice did not answer anything making Sebastian get even more nervous than before and took an arrow from his quiver turning around quickly pointing, but there was no one present in the

room.

"¿What is happening here?" Sebastian said lowering his bow slowly.

Sebastian sat on the floor of the room staying for a while longer continuing his invocation of skeletons while they gained more and more experience with him.
