Aaron stumbled in the house. He and Peyton hand in hand... They hadn't let each others hands loose since they got in the car... Jin had droven Peyton's car so that Aaron could drive her back. Since Peyton was still blind... When they got back they didn't bother getting the bags. They just went into the house... Aaron and Peyton carefully went up to their bedroom... Niether of them saying a word... Niether letting the others hand go... When they got up, Aaron stopped in the doorway... Peyton could tell what he was thinking... He missed his brother, and she did too... Daniel stayed back for college when Aaron went to war for the first time... Peyton thought of him as a brother too. Peyton and Daniel were close friends, thats how she met Aaron... Daniel and Peyton used to be nieghbors, her and Katlyn would play together since their only a year apart, and Daniel would watch them... Then their parents died... And they moved down from Alaska to Sanfrancisco, to live with Aaron's family... They Peyton moved there 7 years later, and the three reconected, And she became closer to Aaron... And when they were 16, they got together... Peyton knew how Aaron felt, the four of them were childhood friends, now one of them was gone... She held Aaron from the back... And she tried not to cry into his back... Je turned around and picked her up, then rested her gently onto her back and tucked her in... He kissed the top of her head and sat next to her, but didn't lay down. He wanted to keep her safe. So he sat there, awake. Holding her hands. And rubbing her palms until she fell asleep... Atka was looking at him, she sensed something was wrong. She layed next to them both and sat her head on Peytons chest. And her paw on Peyton's baby bump. 4 more months to go... Aaron rubbed Atka on the head... He had more respect for Atka than any person, other than Peyton... And Daniel... She had kept Peyton flsafe durring the day... She's made her feel like she wasn't alone... She loved her... Soon Atka fell asleep too... And so did Aaron. He stuggled up next to Peyton. And had his hand on her bump, next to Atka's paw... They all slept peacfully that night... Niether made a noise... Nor did they move a mussle... The first to wake up was Aaron... He decided to hop itln the shower... When he turned on the water he just stared... Untill he finally got in... The second he got in, he put his hand on the wall and bent his head... The water rushing down his face as he cried quietly... He heard what was the bathroom door creak open... Peyton walked in amd slid the glass shower door, she was still in her pajama's... She didn't wanna do anything quick, so she just held her hand up until Aaron held it... She stepped in with her shorts and shirt still on... She held him... And they both cried quietly onto each other... Until Aaron could't stand... They brought them selves to the shower floor, sitting and crying in each others arms... Feeling the water drip down their faces... Somewhere from Aarons broken heart he managed to say, "I'm sorry... I tried to save him but I couldn't... I TRIED... (Crying) I'm sorry... I'm so sorry!" Peyton held him tighter... "It wasn't your fault... It wasn't your fault... You tried... You did everything you could have done!!!" Aaron pushed away her went hair and looked at her eyes, Though her pupils were shunken and Blinded he still saw the hope in her eyes... Those vibrant blue eyes... They were the first thing he fell in love with when he saw her... He put his hand to her chin, and kissed the top of her head... And then kissed her lips... He sat with his back to the shower wall and placed her facing away from him, And pulled her into his lap... She layed her head back on his shoulder... She was holding her stomach, and so was Aaron. With their fingers intertwined... He rubbed her shoulders and then her hand... And they sat their holding each other... In the warm water... Both broken and scared... With just a small chance for hope still there...
Maya's House: Maya heard a knock on her door and went to get it... It was Peyton, Atka, and Aaron... They all sat on the couch next to Atticus... He didn't even wanna play with Atka. He just layed there with her head in his lap... Peyton was holding Maya's hand while Aaron patted Atticus on the back... His way of saying it was alright... Atticus didn't speak... Nobody did... And that was how it was for the next week... Katlyn amd Jin came over alot more, and Jin kept and eye on Atticus... Nobody knew what to say... What to do... They all got 1 week off work... Everyone did... To celebrate the wars close ending... While they sat here in silence, and then one day... Daniels face popped up on the news. It sent quiet Atticus into a sob... He ran upstairs and didn't let anyone in his room other than Atka... He cried himself to sleep... He held onto Atka like a baby to his mother... He held her, and she kept her paw around his small little body... She cared for him... She cared for eveyone... After giving him a while Aaron went up to check on him. once he entered Atticus woke up... they locked eyes... Atticus held Atka tighter... Aaron finally blurt it out... "Hey kid... You know Aunt Peyton said you could have Atka tonight... Your mom is okay with it... Would you like that?" Atticus nodded his head and hugged Aaron... "Thanks Uncle Aaron." He picked up Atticus and tossed him up into the air as Atticus laughed... The first time in a week... "Your getting big bud... I bet you can't wait to be a big brother." Atticus nodded his head as Aaron put him back with Atka... When he left, Atticus was laughing and playing with Atka as she was trying to be his big babystitter... For a two year old she acted like a wise grandmother... Aaron and Peyton left without Atka, even though Peyton needed her she knew Atticus needed her more... As long as he was happy it was essier for Maya... Plus Aaron was back, he was what she needed most... Becuase the moring sickness had just been getting worse... The rest of the few days consisted of visits to Maya's... Sleeping, and simpathy calls from friends... It was mostly... Silent...
