And then, one breezy evening I got a text from you. I was undressing myself in that dusty locker room, with two other students. We worked together at this mall. It was a good way to get some money while studying.
Your text was simple, yet it chilled my whole body. I was smiling, the familiar feeling in my heart warmed me up. One of my coworkers asked me what was with me, I couldn't even speak. I just smiled.
You asked me if I was in the city on Friday. I said yes.
You sad that you may come on Friday. I said okay, come.
And that Friday I waited.
And waited...
And then I texted you, I told you to let me know if you're not coming.
And then I waited some more. I checked our conversation on Instagram a hundred times a minute.
After five hours of waiting I realised you were not coming.
I went to sleep.
I didn't cry that day.
