The sound of it was enough to bring everyone to a halt as I turned around to see Tiamat more than fifteen meters back, her feet drawing skid marks in the pristine ball room floor. The golden Legolas was hoisted up her shoulders, and she was bleeding from the side of her mouth. I turned to face Io, only to see she was missing an arm, and a good chunk of her right shoulder, but the worst damage was to the people behind her.
